Called for a bid on Nov. 27th. Mark came out within a day or two to give me a bid. We discussed the issue and possible fixes, he said I'd get a bid in email within a day or two. About a week later I still had not seen anything in email so I called the company and was told "bids were being emailed that day". Now, another week later - no bid. Called again today, explained I hadn't seen my bid yet, I was told that "they were just too busy to do partial jobs, sorry you weren't notified". Terrible customer service, might indicate the quality of work they do also.
Never again. Still working through all the issues they've caused. Gutters were installed incorrectly. They pulled up the drip edge of the roof to level out the gutters properly, but in doing so, it caused water to drain between the gutter and my new roof. It took months to get someone to come out, and when finally they came out they accidentally broke my window frame. They did replace the window but showed up unannounced without warning. They said they called the day before and left a message, but I didn't receive any call and them just leaving a message isn't consent to show up. I found more gutters with potential issues while putting xmas lights up. Update 1/31/19: The owner came out and reviewed the rest of my gutters and assured me they were all in good order; however, he was treating me like I was crazy. Come to find out, his worker, who came out to fix the gutters and accidentally broke my window, lied to the own about the gutters being install incorrectly and said they were just backed up. With no trees in my yard, I'm sure it would take longer than 4 months to back up, installed in May and found leak in Sept.. Plus, the worker had to screwed down the drip edge to affix it in place. The owner still didn't believe me after telling him what really happened.
I have to say, working with Affordable Gutter Services was like a breath of fresh air. They were quick to get back to us with a proposal and when they did the work, they were on time and did a great job. The installed new gutters and replaced some damaged T1-11 on the side of our house. Would definitely recommend them!
Ed came out to my place and made me feel confident that he not only knew what he was talking about but that he cared more about making sure I was happy. Could not recommend this company enough, the installation crew did amazing.
Never again! The equipment did not work when they arrived requiring them to leave and comeback. The installation was subpar splitting many rafter joists with rafter spikes installed off center. The corners are not seamless as identified on the website. Additionally my prior gutters where a different size than what was installed leaving a gap of exposure to my attic, requiring a siding company to come out and correct the error. It cost me an additional $150 to correct for the error that should have been addressed with me prior to installation not after the fact with the installer saying "that's what you asked for". After I met with and had a discussion with the owner he identified that he could not compensate me for the $150 repair because he already does not make any money in gutters installation. Lastly, after all this I received a notice of collection via "Certified" letter for the cost of the installation. The interesting thing was I received the collection letter 2 days after the company cashed my check. The owner explained that they send these to every customer to ensure that he has legal authority to seek reimbursement through a house lien if it is not paid in full. Ultimately, this was a disappointing expirience and the service to rectify it seemed to be inconvenient at best. They seems to have a good office staff but that's about it. Steer clear is my suggestion. Update: the gutters are now leaking, two of the locations that were originally be seamless are now leaking at the corners. Unbelievable......
