These people were asked to leave the store for the child's own safety. There is too much glass and too many breakable items for an out of control child who is not being supervised properly. The owner had to speak loudly to be heard over the screams of the child, no offense was intended. All proceeds from gumball sales go to charity, the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

I would give them no stars if I could, all because of the old woman who owns the store. My son is autistic and I would not allow him to have a gumball from their machine in the store. (Why they even have one when they wont allow food or drinks is beyond me). He didnt understand why he couldnt have a ball and so I would take him outside when he got upset. When we went back inside and he started getting upset again, I was about to take him back outside to calm down when the woman said, as loud as she could, If you cant control your child, you will have to leave. He wasnt messing with anything. He was simply upset. Thats why I was taking him outside. She could have been more understanding and asked me nicely. I will never give this place my business. And neither will my friend who was with me. My child was only touching the gumball machine. He wasnt hitting it, or anything else. I was keeping an eye on him. He screeches because he cant communicate properly. He wouldnt destroy anything.
They have a good selection on retro games. And some quirky stuff to buy, but the return policy is abysmal. There is no cash back period. The atmosphere is not very relaxed either, Helpful yes, informative usually, but not really friendly. Know what you want when you go in there.
I have a service dog. The first time I came into this store I was harassed by the employee for an ID card (which isn't legally required and isn't accredited. I can get my jar of nutella registered as a service dog.) I explained the laws and was continually told I had to leave. I fought for my rights and was able to stay and purchase the things I wanted to purchase. I have dreaded going back in but today I finally did. I am so proud of them. They asked me the two legal questions and allowed me to continue about my business. They were polite and courteous. I am so glad that they've read up on the laws. Thank you! Accommodations are the reason I can live my life and feel safe. You have shown maturity and growth and you definitely have my business! A couple things I'd like to say to the owners directly: - I appreciate the employee who asked us these questions. He deserves a raise honestly. - I do however think that it's incredibly weird that you actually watch the cameras so much that you called to make sure he asked me these questions. That makes me slightly uncomfortable at walking into your store. But I understand why you take precautions. - Before posting this review I read all previous ones of your store. As a completely friendly tip, I'd like to let you know that the way you come across in some of your responses to negative reviews is very unprofessional and highly confrontational. It's important to remain calm and be helpful even when someone is irate. It might be in your best interest not to drag customers through the mud for leaving a negative review. They are still potential customers after all! Stay positive and professional!
The return policy board is bolted to the wall behind the checkout, in unobstructed view from the entire store. "7 day warranty against DEFECTS ONLY" This line from the policy board explicitly states that the warranty only applies to defective items. During a virus outbreak, you cannot return something that you have opened, removed from the package, and put back inside. This is unsanitary, and no better than opening someone's sealed fast food bag, digging around in their fries, and closing it back up again. We will continue to do everything in our power to ensure the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and ourselves throughout the entire pandemic.

When you buy something they tell you about their 7 day warranty buy nothing about how you can't return a product at all. I bought a controller and it ended up not having the right connecter that I needed so I thought to myself no big deal I'll just take it back since I never took the product out if the box. Turns out something I spent $15 on they wouldn't do a return and only offered me $1 for it. What is this? This is trying times in this world with covid making its way around and being a college kid money is tight enough without these extra factors. Now I'm out some money and it doesn't seem like a lot to probably most but in these times every penny adds up for a college kid and they wouldn't work with me at all. I wish they would've been up front with their return policy something like all sells are final or something but no. None of that they just mention a warranty.
