Ive been in the cardiac unit for 4 days. Nurses and drs do seem to care. But at the same time there is a lack of urgency. There's a lot of drama and gossiping in front of me between aids and nurses. Unless you're celebrity status don't expect "world class care" I've also had to call from my room, the main hospital to be connected to the nurses station because they don't answer call lights. I'm in here with a dissection, tumor on my spine, several issues and highly disgusted at this point. Edit, Upon discharge they wrote 3 prescription drugs for me to pick up at MY pharmacy 40 mins away at my home. Well, they decided to write it to their OWN pharmacy, which is closed, and again, 40 mins away. So how are we supposed to trust they are properly going over test results etc. When they can't take 2 mins to check what medication they are sending and to where.
