Update 12/29/18 - Great customer service, owner Explained the delay was due to a database migration issue that affected several customers' projects slipping and offered a 10% refund. A nice concession after a frustrating experience that stretched 4 months after ordering and making initial payment to get a finished install.

Terrible customer service! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! We planned to do a master closet and pantry for the kitchen. Initially, we were working with Bowatch and he said that we needed to have someone tear down the existing closet and then patch and paint the area a day prior to the work. He gave us a contact for this and we went ahead with their contractor. In the kitchen we have molding that wraps around the space where the pantry was to be installed. Multiple emails with Bowatch went back and forth and he confirmed that we did not have to have the molding removed for the pantry, they would install something to go around it for the new pantry. We were then told Sevda would be in touch with us to schedule final measurements and go ahead with the project. I had to initiate contact and follow up with her multiple times in order to confirm date of the project. Her contact for final measurements came late to the appointment and did not call. Again I had to follow up and find out what day exactly was installation. My husband rearranged his work schedule so that he could be home for the install and then one day prior, Sevda emailed (did not call) and told us they would have to cancel due to some product malfunction! They ended up coming the next day so not exactly sure what the problem was and then after all that, they ended up removing the molding in the pantry area, damaged the drywall and DID not repair or paint. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS. Multiple emails back and forth and text messages, took more than 6 weeks and then another person named Elia followed up with us. She came home to see the project that we were unhappy with, also 25 minutes late and no phone call, and it's been over one week and NO RESPONSE at all. We were charged the full price for the project despite the damage to our drywall, no responsibility on their part. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

We have a great kitchen cabinet in our small house in Washington D.C., but we couldn't find a good open shelving that would both fit to our space as well as look beautiful. The designer in Closet and Beyond did such a great job in maintaining the aesthetic consistency of the kitchen and adding such great shelves and drawers to create a beautiful custom-made pantry. It is very very functional and we fit almost everything we have there. It is hung on the wall and we are very happy that we went for Closet and Beyond. We will no doubt work with them in the future for other closet units in the apartment.

We returned to Closet & Beyond for a bookshelf project because we have been pleased with the closet designs this company did for us four years ago. Ana was our designer this time. She was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and quickly grasped what I planned for the space. Ana was easy to reach and very responsive. The installers did a great job as well. Thanks to Ana, the bookshelves turned out to be what we wanted. We already recommend Closet & Beyond to our family & friends in the area.

I visited this showroom three times and every time I went there, they were very helpful and tried to show me every option and they were very open when I needed ideas. I decided to go with them because their pricing was extremely fair and much better than other big box closet companies. I also loved that they manufacture all their closets here in the U.S. and that they are not some imports from China or India. The design of our master bedroom closet was so good that I feel now very excited every time I go to our bedroom or get ready for work every morning. It really changed my lifestyle and really got everything organized on the entire second floor. We are using it jointly with my husband and we absolutely love it. It is a very big walk-in closet space but they did such a great job to leave space for us to walk as well as maximize the space and storage. The production and installation were also very fast and we liked the entire process except few hiccups. But the project manager was there all the time to ensure that all our concerns are addressed.
