I enrolled my husband and toddler as dependents on my health insurance on 9/29, and paid $6655.00 in full for the two of them. I uploaded their qualifying documents on 9/25. When I called on 10/4 to find out why, a week and a half later, they were yet enrolled, I was told that there was a clerical error, that they did see that I had paid, and that they would process them both in 24-48 hours. After three days went by, I called back. They told me they needed to "review" my payment even though I had email proof from Gallagher and from my credit card that they money was taken out. Meanwhile, my husband and toddler are left without health insurance...during a worldwide pandemic. Please immediately instate their health insurance. This is the worst health insurance company I have ever had to deal with.
Ive tried to waive my insurance through school several times as I already have insurance. Ive done it 2 times and both times they tell me that its rescinded only after 5 business days. Then I finally find the letter they want, I go and try to put it through their portal only to have a message that I cant do so because the site is down. Then I wait 24 hours and call them, Im on hold for an hour, I get off of hold but the call drops. I call another customer service number and it just tells me that nobody will answer my call because of technical difficulties and it hangs up. This is the deadline. Its your fault its taken this long. I could have had this done weeks ago, but you decided to be nitpicky slow then when I finally met your standards you go out then you waste my time with customer service and wont even let me speak to anyone. Im going to end up being charged $2500 for insurance I dont need because of you. Theres a special place in hell for you. Id give you negative stars if I could, Update: They did give me an extension, and allowed me to put my insurance in. So they get one additional star, though its a lousy lousy insurance company that caused me way too much stress.
I had my wife insurance waived after calling them in short amount of time contradictory to what I read from other reviews . They might have changed their way they deal with people or I talked with some good representative.
This company is a total scam, I provided proof on insurance three times and they kept on rejecting it. Apparently they want to charge me again.
