So I was recommended to Funkhouser law by several people. I had an issue last summer when I was visiting Ohio from out of state. I ended up hiring Derek Welt as my counsel. He did a great job of managing my case for me, especially with living out of state. Derek got me the results I wanted and I'm very happy to have had him represent me. I have known Doug Funkhouser for 5 years. I had a ridiculously long and drawn out case. His ability to relate to his clients is one of his best qualities as an attorney. He is extremely professional, organized and efficient. He relays all information to you in a timely manner and is realistic about the potential outcome of a case. He is up front with the facts and makes you feel comfortable knowing that he is handling the case with your best interest in mind. He returns all phone calls promptly and has never avoided any of my questions or concerns. Personally, I think that everyone should keep Doug Funkhouser "on retainer"... I wouldn't want nor do I plan on anyone other than Doug handling my business.

Doug Funkhouser is effective, efficient and provides great service to his clients. I have known Doug for several years, as he is my business attorney. In the last couple of years, my son was arrested and charged with a felony. Doug is very attentive and matter of fact. He did a fantastic job with completely informing us about the case.
