I was incredibly disappointed in the BizTown summer camp program. My 12 year was so excited to attend the program with his friend, both very interested in the subject matter provided in the camp description. The student leader of their group had a terrible attitude, telling the children he "had" no interest in being there on the first day. On Thursday, this same student leader told the kids in his group that Friday would be boring and they may as well stay home. He wasn't lying. I came about an hour early to pick up my son, and they were all just sitting there. For almost $400, there should have been organized activities for the kids at all times. On Thursday, the children were told they would receive lunch from Canes Chicken, one of the program sponsors. Consequently, I did not pack lunch for my son. When I picked him up that day, he told me they were given two chicken fingers. That's it for 7 hours. Disappointing for the kids and frustrating for the parents. The entire program has so much potential and for the most part, the children who attend WANT to learn. I drove all the way from Lewis Center to drop my kids off. We will not be back and I strongly urge others to save their money if they are considering the camp.

My son's (Whom is considered autistic) school visited Biztown on Monday. He was so excited to go. While there one of the staff members assaulted my son because he had his hood on after he's teacher explained why he had it on to another staff member. I've reached out to Biztown and simply asked that the staff member who did this apologized to my son. I don't want to take any legal actions which his dad wants to. I spoke with the manager whom was really understanding to my concerns and said she would call me back or have her boss call me the same day well that didn't happen. I got a call from her boss the next day only because I kept calling and left a message for her (her words not mines) only for the conversation to go left and her tell me the person who assaulted my son will not be apologizing and I "better" take the apology from her. The way the situation was handled was very unprofessional and I will be moving forward with legal action. I have proof from my son's teacher stating that this did happen. I'm very disappointed to say the least. I spoke highly of this place and encouraged my son that it was a mistake and ppl sometimes make mistakes. All I was asking for was a simple apology to my son from the person who hurt his feelings.
