asked for subtle highlights but got straight up stripes -- it looks as though i've abruptly gone gray. and the tone is cold blond whereas my natural hair is warm. the vibe at lb is lovely, and i've had some very positive experiences there, but now i'm stuck with hair i hate and $270 lighter. i called and asked if they could fix it but all they suggested was a toning for their usual price.

Cool interior. Model for free cut. Ms Olivia was sweet and did good job. Would've been a nicer experience if the man who stood at the reception desk had been more welcoming when I walked in. Not a smile

Ladies and Gents salon with a cult following of celebs and chic Brooklynites. This latest location features a garden entrance and late Victorian interior all meticulously designed by the owner Russell. Previous iterations were used as film locations for Scorsese, Boardwalk Empire, etc go for the great vibes and leave with excellent hair.

I visit the Tommy Guns salon in Shoreditch, London every 8 weeks and thought this would be a safe bet but my hair was totally butchered. They didn't listen to me and cut it far too short even after I told him I still wanted length on top. VERY disappointing and I've essentially ended up with a short back and sides you can get anywhere for 10. The 1 star is for the service, which was really nice but to be honest I'd rather they were rude and I had a haircut I was really happy with. For this price, they should really listen to their customers. 25th July 2014.
