My now husband and I worked with Rachel of Daylynn Designs for our wedding at Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port. We utilized the services in her Full Service Planning and Design Package and were perfectly cared for throughout each step of our planning process. Our wedding was organized on a very short timeline and Rachel quickly connected us to the best of the best vendors all while keeping us on budget (even helping with contract negotiations to repeatedly save us money). Rachels professionalism was remarkable and she continued to impress us on the day-of with her thorough timeline and calm demeanor. I often joke that I wish I could have the opportunity to plan a wedding with Rachel again, but instead, Im happy to share my positive experience so that you too might share the pleasure of working with Daylynn Designs.

Hiring Rachel of Daylynn Designs as my wedding planner was HANDS DOWN the best decision I made to achieve the wedding of my dreams (besides saying 'yes' to my now husband, of course). I had always thought that I am organized and creative enough to pull off the planning of my own wedding, but very early into that process, I realized I was dead wrong. Aside from the obvious benefits of a wedding planner (negotiating vendor contracts, scheduling timelines, etc.), I needed someone with design talent to draw inspiration from my vague semblance of a vision and somehow bring it to life. More importantly, I needed someone with a unique creativity to make my wedding different from anything I had seen before. Based on her design portfolio and personal style, Rachel was my top choice. Throughout the entire process, she was extremely professional and so easy to get along with. She carefully curated a list of reputable vendors and kept them on track and cost-effective leading up to the wedding. She tastefully curated design elements that completely transformed my reception venue into a romantic yet sophisticated atmosphere that just instantly made myself and my guests feel happy. I could go on for hours about the countless little details that Rachel came up with to make this day truly special. What I loved most is the fact that our guests felt the same way - special, engaged in the celebration, and enjoying themselves. This is all thanks to Rachel and Daylynn Designs thoughtful details and overall PERFECT end result on our wedding day. I am recommending Rachel to any and all people I know planning a wedding or event, because her touch really gives an event the special feeling that you can't even describe in words.

Rachel worked seamlessly with our family to create an unforgettable rehearsal dinner for my brother's wedding. Her navigation of the complexities of throwing a tented event on Cape Cod is one of a kind. Where do I even begin...I was apprehensive to hire a day-of wedding coordinator because I felt I could handle everything and was already way over budget. Nevertheless, my husbands mother insisted I look into it given the amount of vendors we were using and how many moving pieces needed coordination. Needless to say, Rachel was HANDS DOWN the best money we spent on the entire wedding. She kept me calm the entire day of the wedding which is a project on its own (especially given the fact that it poured), she was so attentive to every detail (even creating individual timelines for everybody in the wedding party), and she managed the vendors like a champion ensuring everyone was on time, in place and following the timeline. One of the best examples of her attention to detail was my husbands tuxedo jacket. We wore ivory jackets during dinner and his boutonniere broke and he got a stain on his jacket before we made our way around to the tables to address our guests. Within minutes Rachel snatched his jacket, replaced his boutonnière with one of the extras we had made (for this reason) and was able to get the stain out of his jacket. In addition, I had asked Rachel to manage our time throughout the night so we could make our way around to every table without spending our entire night doing so. She traveled with us from table to table handling our time so we were never stuck for too long and were able to greet every table during dinner. All in all, Rachel is phenomenal. She knows what shes doing, is extremely organized, is prepared for any and all possible situations, has contacts with EVERY kind of vendor and is just so easy and pleasant to work with. Truth be told, before walking my mom down the aisle, I gave Rachel a hug because of how flawless everything was going. If you have any question about hiring a coordinator, stop. Its the best use of your wedding budget and will truly let you enjoy your day. If youre looking into who would be the best fit for your big day youve 100% found your person. Rachel was absolutely amazing and I couldnt possibly recommend her more. I feel as though I have extremely high expectations and she blew me away. The five things you never thought about or forgot about she has already organized solutions for to ensure your day is seamless. Thats the level of professionalism and expertise she brings to the table. You couldnt possibly do what she does! A++++
