I am a mother of four with a fiancee that was recently in a coma. During that time we became homeless and eventually without vehicle. I have been working my hardest to rebuild our life, with only little help from my fiancee since he has only just recovered and began work. We struggled for months to get the money together to put down on a vehicle so that we would be able to get to work. We made the mistake of being honest. frank saw it as an opportunity for him to take advantage of a family whose back was against the wall. He pushed us into a car that was misfiring on its 3rd cylinder with the promise of a 7 day money back garauntee and a 30 day warranty on tbe entire car plus talked us into financing another $2000 for an additional 2 year warranty. He then told his sin to do an oil change on the vehicle as it was his car lots protocol. The next day my fiancee spent at the mechanics to fix the 3rd cylander that was misfiring. We were told that it was just a coil pack and that the car was fixed. It was not. The vehicle ran worse and continued to throw the code for third cylinder misfire. The next morning my fiancee met at the car lot because the engine developed a knock and the owner frank had said that he would bring us to a different mechanic to fix the third cylinder. Upon franks inspection of the vehicle he admitted his son forgot to put oil back in the car after the oil change, but assured us the motor was still fine. The new mechanic told us that the fuel inhector for cylinder 3 had to be replaced so we left the car for him to do so. After the fact we were told that it was a fuel regulator sensor and not the injector. The problems were not fixed. Now on the third day wasted at the mechanic we brought the vehicle in and were told that we had to leave whike they worked on it. Unable to facilitate a ride, we walked 3 hrs to franks car lot. During this time the mechanic decided to pull the instrument cluster and cut the indicator lights so that we wouldnt know that the check engine light was still on ( instead of actually fixing the car). In the process he also damaged the speedometer. When we left the shop we brought the car to another mechanic to get checked due to the fact that it was running even worse. The vehicle was now throwing 8 different codes instead of just the one (which was still there as well). One of the codes now being much more serious stating that there was now a multiple cylinder misfire. Now this was day three at the mechanics. During this while process frank tried to keep us complacent by promising us enough work at his office to also pay for a home so that we would not be homeless. He even went so far as to have my fiancee take measurements and put together a material list. Well after wasting a week with frank causing my fiancee to be unable to work elsewhere in order to at least get money for a motel, and the vehicle being in much worse shape then from the start. At this point frank said he decided not to give the work to my fiancee. We decided to return the vehicle and get a refund so that we could walk to another lot to try and buy another vehicle. Frank agreed. We were supposed to return the car the next afternoon being as frank had to go pick up some new vehicles the next county over in the morning. When we contacted him to try and bring it back, he told us that he then was leaving for the day with no explanation. In addition, he also said that he would no longer take the car back because he spent our money. But that he promised that he would call on monday and would try a third mechanic on monday. Sunday he was unavailable and when monday came he avoided us so that it went past the 1 week money back garantee. So basically we are now stuck with a vehicle that barely runs, homeless with small children. And frank the shady used car salesman who doesnt honor his own warranties or policies.
Great people to work with. Frank has been good to us from day one. Greatly appreciate all he has done for us over the course of buying our car. He has been right on top of it all. Always willing to work with us if a problem arose. Look forward to working with this company more.
