James is thorough, polite, straightforward, and knowledgeable. He is easy to talk to and capable of explaining mechanical intricacies in language that a nonmechanic can understand. Some mechanics talk down to you or flex their technical knowledge in a way that is completely unhelpful; not James. His experience and his meticulous, detail-obsessed approach set him apart from the other mechanics I've gone to. And his rates are very fair, especially considering the quality of the work. I also appreciated that he was easy to get a hold of and responsive to phone calls and texts.
