So many lies here, I dont know where to begin but here is the FULL story. In February of 2017 Bre came in with her mom and dad, who is a mechanic. They were interested in a 2007 Jeep Compass Limited with 150,000 miles. Dad the mechanic thoroughly checked over the vehicle which included us putting the Jeep on a lift in the garage so that he could thoroughly inspect underneath the vehicle. Dad the mechanic stated that everything looked good. At this time the frame had showed no signs of excessive corrosion and would have legally passed Pennsylvania inspection, as inspection stations are only permitted to visually inspect a vehicles frame for holes. With mom and dads approval, Bre purchased the Jeep. It came with a free 6- month warranty extendable up to 200,000 miles. 7 1/2 months later, Bre came in with her mom and informed us of the issue she was having with the rear subframe. We initially instructed them to contact a Jeep dealer, as Jeep had extended the the warranty on Compass subframe to 10years. The issue with the 2007 Compass is that SOME were manufactured using inferior materials for the subframe. In those vehicles, some structural crossmembers (subframe) are prone to rust, primarily in salt-belt states like Pennsylvania. The warranty criteria is to replace the crossmembers only if a hole exists because the corrosion starts on the inside, where it would be undetectable. By the time a hole breaks through, the part has already been compromised. Bre and her mom said they had already tried that but the Jeep dealer would do nothing for them. Feeling compassion for their situation, we asked them to have the Jeep delivered to us so we could assess the situation. Once they did, we had a meeting with mom and dad the mechanic, where we put the Jeep on the lift and looked at it together. We observed signs of corrosion on the rear crossmember (subframe) at which point we offered to replace the rear crossmember at no charge. Mom and dad agreed to this and so we replaced it for free, something Bre conveniently left out of her story. I guess it didnt fit her narrative. Her Jeeps rear subframe is now 100% rust-free, the same as if the dealer had replaced it under the extended warranty. As for the wheels being the incorrect size, they were aftermarket wheels that were put on by a previous owner. There was nothing to indicate that they were the incorrect size and any reputable wheel or tire shop would only install the correct wheel and tire size for that particular vehicle. We do not randomly go about switching out wheels with incorrect ones on vehicles we offer for sale. That is ludicrous. If Bre had extended her 6-month warranty then any transmissions issues she was experiencing would be completely covered by the warranty. We always give a free 3 or 6 month warranty on our vehicles and encourage everyone to extend them as long as they can. You never know when a used vehicle is going to have a problem and it is worth the little extra money for the peace of mind knowing that your car will be covered should anything happen. By choosing not to extend the warranty, Bre is responsible to pay for her vehicles repairs in full and thats why she is not happy.

Id give 0 stars if I could. My mother and I purchased a Jeep Compass from there in February 2017. The sign on the car stated that it was extra clean. More like extra rusted. They had covered all of the rust under the car with puddy and paint to cover it up. When the alternator died in the car, my father, who is a mechanic at our family business, put the car on the rack and saw that the paint wore off and all the rust was shown. The whole sub frame was rusted and if I would have drove any more I could have been killed. Anyone in my car could have been killed, or anyone around me on the road could have been killed. They sold us a car that could NOT have legally passed inspection. I bought the car in February of 2017 and this all happened around September of 2017. I didnt have the car in the winter, so all of that rust couldnt have acquired over that period of time I owned the car. We recentally also found out that they changed the wheel size on my Jeep and put the incorrect tires on my car which is why the car doesnt run correctly and my transmission is slipping. Do NOT buy from here. They act all nice and caring, but they only care for the money. I could have been killed. I spent $6,000 of my hard earned money for a rust bucket, piece of junk that I only was about to drive for about 4 months. I am a college student who works 3 jobs. I worked my butt off to save up for a car to get me to my job. Yes, buying a used car, its not going to be perfect. But this car has been nothing both problems for us. So many lies. Do NOT trust these people. Go to a real dealership where they offer warranties to cover the car. These cars are unsafe and I would never want anyone to have to go through what I did for this car. I put so much more money into the car than what I paid.
