I have taken multiple trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic with Bridges to Community and each time have come back re-energized to continue working - even if in the smallest ways - on issues of social justice in my community and beyond. By working alongside local community members on these trips, you will break down barriers, learn about another culture, forge friendships, and come back a changed person. I can't recommend Bridges highly enough if you are willing to step outside your comfort zone and challenge yourself to learn by doing.

Bridges to Community makes an incredible difference in the lives of the communities they serve in Nicaragua and Dominican Republic. Not only is the ongoing impact felt by the communities in which they serve, but the trip has a lasting impact on the volunteers who take part.
