The shop was dirty and not well kept up. The barber, D'anwar was awesome. He gave me just what I asked for with my cut and was very attentative. Everyone was friendly as well. They played r&b oldies on the speaker which was great other than that my only complaint was the upkeep of the shop and is the reason I gave 2 stars.

Worst experience I have ever had. She claims to be a natural hair specialists. I went I for a blow out and a trim. She blowed out my hair and cut a few of my dead ends, greased my scalp and told me I was done. I have very soft hair so I don't need heat to straighten my hair. We debated back and forth about how straight my hair should be and the amount she trimmed. She trimmed more then blew my hair out more. It still looked like my 15 yr niece did my hair in the bathroom of her apartment. I had more grease in my hair then when I came. She doesn't know black hair. I would have done a better job myself.

Once your wife brought your daughters in an hour after the time you asked for but hadn't confirmed, she explained that this was the 3rd time you made appointments for your children and once she arrived the communication between you and the stylists that you tried before was not what you told her. Your family was told that because there was no real appointment, they could be treated like walk ins and serviced between scheduled clients. Their hair was still in the previous style they had and not ready to be washed or styled. As a courtesy, the stylist took over 20 minutes trying to detangle one section of hair. The mother apologized saying that the children had been to the beach and hadn't properly detangled their hair after. One of the little girls, cried, and screamed, attempting to move the stylists hands out of her head due to how tenderheaded she was. The stylist explained that she wouldn't be able to complete the service if the child couldn't stop moving out of the chair. The mom understood, apologized on behalf of you for not being thorough with booking an actual appointment and not having the children's hair ready to be serviced, And left calmly.

Where is the negative 5 stars option?? Joydidit has the worst horrible demeanor and lack there of customer service skills. This shop is unkempt and plays inappropriate music for children. She finally gave me an appointment at 10 am Saturday morning a week in advance. After a month of attempts to contact... Then to say Saturday day of appointment...that I didn't confirm. It should been have confirmed when you offered it and I said ok thankyou. Then she says I will squeeze you in...so she does not shampoo daughters hair and does 2 braids and starts on another client. Ultimately my family is disgusted and chooses to leave. I would never reccommend this so called stylist to my worst enemy. Ultimately my daughter's had to go on vacation without hair being done as planned. Dont waste your time with her. It will not be a pleasant experience
