Propedia Home Health billed my insurance for 12 visits when they only came out two times. The initial evaluation visit was fine, but the person they sent out to do the physical therapy was completely unacceptable. I cancelled all further visits. My insurance company called to find out what happened and the person answering their phone tried to blame me by saying "oh, they never remember." However; I clearly remember exactly what happened. He then admitted there weren't 12 visits and claimed three with the third visit being a discharge. I don't remember that third visit, but the main issue is he needs to go back and amend the billing for 2 or 3 visits and clear the other 9 or 10 that never happened. He tried to say I "no showed" for multiple visits, which is simply not true: the visits were cancelled. However; he then admitted to my insurance company that they don't bill for missed appointments, so that attempt at distracting from the real issue here is meaningless. I will update this review if/when the billing get corrected by Propedia Home Health.
Do not use this company. It hasnt been in business long and Felix the owner is rude. We were with this company not even a month and my daughter ended up in the hospital. We had so many things wrong with this company. I had to do our own time sheets. We were without a MARS for three weeks. We had NO nurse supervisor the owner who isnt even a Licenses Nurse was my daughters Nurse supervisor. The list goes on. Do not put your Loved ones with this company .
Company has had the wrong number for a patient for nearly two months and has been contacting me instead. Told the nurse twice on two different occasions to stop calling and finally had to block the number. Now someone named felix has been calling me to get home health scheduled for a patient. It's pretty clear this is a very poorly run company, if they keep reaching out to the wrong person hoping for a different result and even when they are told they have the wrong person continued to call me. Now the other number is blocked.
Do not use this company. This is the most disorganized and disrespectful healthcare company I've ever dealt with. Non responsive and combative when expressing concerns.
