I had to think a bit before responding to this review, it is with great disappointment and frustration that it requires me to reply. I don't appreciate the passive/aggressive response to this gentleman's failed negotiation, he is being factually inaccurate about my dealership, the cars, and specifically this particular vehicle and I think he owes us an apology. First off, not that it makes any difference to anything, we have a healthy combination of owned and consigned vehicles, any smart auto dealer would due to time of year, economy, etc. It plays no role in the quality of the inventory in any way. Recon, sounds like he is very familiar with terms in the industry? We do the appropriate amount of "reconditioning" to each and every car, they are not brand new so we do not attempt to mask or hide imperfections and often times what is important to one client is not to the next so we act according to the particular buyers interest at the time of sale. The particular car in question (2020 Porsche 718 Spyder) is sold out at at the dealers and are commanding more than the original MSRP, we did not make this the way it is and are doing our best to sell at the low end of what they can ultimately sell for somewhere else, the gentleman tried to purchase for less than we could accommodate and went home without making a deal. Funny that he attempted to buy the car after slamming it for being sub standard? Condition of the vehicle...what a bald face lie he is making here, the vehicle is used, has 4061 miles and has suffered a handful of rock chips and a couple that have also hit the windshield and left marks, under the front bumper is slight scrape from crossing a driveway threshold, hardly noticeable unless laying on the ground looking underneath. We have 45 high definition photos on the website, he also could have saved time and taken advantage of a local inspection by a facility of his choice (we support and promote people doing this whether local or out of the area), the car is spectacular in every way and this review is based solely on his inability to negotiate a better deal than we agreed to on the phone and he backed off once hear thinking we would move further while he was threatening leaving.

Many cars are consignment with no recon and various degrees of damage Flew 2k miles to look at a car that I was about to buy For 10k over original msrp even though It was slightly used(thats the market currently) turns out the car had extensive paint damage to the entire front of the car plus the front/rear underbody was damaged as well, and the glass was impacted also, it was a 130k car btw Would of saved a trip if they would of been professional and forthright like many dealers are at this price point Super nice guys though

Scott, As the owner of SF Sports Cars, I am unaware of you or the situation you are describing. Obviously buying a vehicle from out of the area is always fraught with challenges. If a local buyer walked in ready to buy while you were also trying to negotiate a purchase, we would have made a decision and sold the car to the first acceptable offer. How could we possibly have benefitted from not selling you a car? Apologies that this did not work out for you, I can assure you we take every buyer seriously and do our best to make every deal. Good luck in your search.

Tried to buy a car from them from out of state, told them was cash buyer, no games they played me against a local buyer sold the car to local person without even offering me an opportunity to purchase, even though I made an offer on a car before anyone, AND asked to reserve the right to increase my offer. Never accepted or declined my offer but used it to leverage a local buyer to pay full price. Never contacted me until after they sold the vehicle out from under me with no explanation other than they preferred to sell to someone local so they didn't have to wait for me to fly out to pick up. Very disappointed, for a place with as many high end exotic vehicles you would think professional service to ALL potential customers would be a high priority. I felt like I was dealing with a guy in a striped suit, white shoes and greased back hair selling 2nd rate used cars. I feel more sorry for the guy who was played into paying full price because they had an offer on the table. Be VERY cautious
