I am so so sorry to hear that its obviously not what we stand for at all we pride ourselves with great customer service and a great haircut and Im so sorry that she was in a bad mood for your service and was not giving you the customer service that you deserved. Im also sorry that the haircut was not even on top if you would like to come back the owner would love to cut your hair for free and show you the experience that you should have had . We will put an appointment note in your file that your next haircut would be free with the owner if you ever decide to give us another chance again we apologize that your experience in the salon was nothing but the best and we appreciate the feedback so we can learn from it we hope you will give us another chance !

I was here in December of 2021 to cut a bunch of quarantine hair. Cierra was my stylist. I have frequented the Refine Mens Salon in another state exclusively for the last three years, and was thoroughly disappointed that my experience here in Scottsdale did not match the quality of service in other areas. I do not usually post reviews, but from the moment my stylist met me in the waiting area to the end of my cut, I was disappointed. Cierras tone and demeanor when she first saw me was curt and unfriendly, and I felt that I needed to take responsibility for her demeanor so that she didnt carry whatever bad day she was having into my haircut. I did not succeed in this - she rushed through the consult, barely wanted to look at the example I was showing her, didnt pay attention to my curl pattern and cut my hair unevenly on top. I will not return to this establishment, and Im honestly shocked that at this price point that such a level of service is tolerated.

Hello Eric we are so very sorry your appointment was mixed up and we apologized and offered you a discount for the confusion we also even offered to get you in with in 10min of you arriving and you said no you where to tired to get your hair done we then apologized again for the error and offered you a discount for the inconvenience and you chose not to wait the 10 minutes and reschedule for a different day I again offered you a discount because of that and you said oh no you dont have to do that and I expressed i want to . We are all human and just doing the best we can and sometimes we mess up unfortunately there was an error in making your appointment we apologize for the mixup we are not sure what happened or how you didnt get booked but we where willing to fit you in with in 10 min to accommodate you for the inconvenience of you driving to the salon. again we are so sorry that did not work for you and we will strive to do better in the future

I called yesterday and made an appointment for 5 o'clock but when I arrived they said they didn't have me down and had no record of me. It's only 2 people, obviously they realized they didn't "save it in the system" or whatever and they tried to be nice and offered me 20% off if I wanted to wait until the 5pm customer got started (clearly the spot they had also offered me) I said no thanks I'll reschedule for Friday, then 30 minutes later i called and asked if I could have a free haircut since I made a 45 minute round trip in rush hour for nothing and I was told no. Thanks for wasting my time.

Im so sorry to hear services where added that seemed like a shady tactic we would never mean for them to be shady or just try and charge you for services you didnt want I see in your history you got the wax trio which is waxing your ears nose and eyebrows if you didnt want that service done and the stylist did it anyway please let me know and I would be happy to refund for your waxing services ! We always only strive to make everyone look and feel their best and try to make suggestions if the other services we offer if you need / want them Im so sorry if it seemed pushy I will for sure address that! The haircuts i have received here have always been top notch. I have had three different stylists cut my hair and all have been great. The reason for my low rating is because of the shady sales tactics that have been pulled while i am there. Extra service is added without consent for the specific service and price is not discussed, yet they still want to charge for the service. Go for the service you request but be careful if they try to add additiinal services.
