Please do not move to any apartments own by this company. They constantly switch property managers and you can never get a hold of corporate. The water bills goes up constantly and there isnt anyone you can contact to discuss it. Clear water is the water company that is listed on the bill , it is own by the owner as well. When compared to someone who sits at home all day verses someone who goes to work . You can bet your last dollar ,your bill will be ridiculously more. This company is horrible and currently seeking a way to get them investigated because the things they do has to be illegal.
I've been a resident of one the East Point communities, Lakeshire Village, for about 15 months now. I just purchased a home through Atlanta Habitat and spoke with a previous leasing manager on 3/16/17. The leasing MANAGER stated that I would only need to give a 30 day notice and show proof that I was purchasing a home.....well fast forward 2 months, time to give my 30 day notice and a new very nonchalant, unprofessional leasing manager who now stated that is incorrect in order to break my lease I must pay 2 months rent and should've given a 60 day notice. I was given a number to their Corporate office and the so called Regional manager, Rebecca Lively whom has yet to reply to either my emails or the several phone mails I left. I've been trying to contact both Mrs. Lively and the owner listed for Nu Rock/Korley Management for over a week now, this is so unprofessional.

NuRock and the staff at Chapel Run apartments are unprofessional and the way they handle business is lackadaisical. I applied for an apartment in March and my current lease ended on May 31st which resulted in me having to go into a month to month which is expensive. First, I worked with Ashley and she was helpful through the application process. Ms. Nina Danzey never deals with customers. Shes standoffish and lazy. If you worked with Ashley she doesnt even try to assist with you in Ashleys absence. Yesterday, June 14th, I called to get information on my move in because Im currently pregnant and been awaiting an apartment to be available. I was interested in a three bedroom. First, I was told thered be an apartment available in June. I was told to pay a deposit to secure the apartment is mine and not that if I cancelled my application that it wasnt refundable. No disclosure agreement was read to me or signed by me upon paying my deposit. Had I wouldve known that, I wouldnt have even paid the deposit. The transaction and withholding of my money is entrapment, embezzlement, and fraud. I actually was told by Nina that shed contact corporate to issue my refund. Upon today, June 15th, Nina has Ashley read me some disclosure agreement about the deposit basically stating its not refundable if I choose not to lease with them. Keep in mind, I never signed a lease or anything and if it wasnt refundable if I chose not to lease why wasnt I given paperwork that stated that? I went up to the apartment complex to rectify the issue but both Ashley and Nina didnt acknowledge me when I walked in. I requested the corporate offices number and email and was only given an email after Ashley called the police because I wouldnt sit down. Im pregnant and nobody is going to be fine with someone wrongfully keeping their money. I never received corporates email nor a copy of the disclosure agreement that Ashley tried to read to me over the phone, or a policy pertaining to why they dont give applicants copies of their application. I was only given a phone number from someone of their choice. I requested a copy of my originally application but Ashley told the officer its against company policy and I wasnt even given a copy of that fraudulent made up policy. Everything about this establishment from corporate to its employees is unprofessional and distasteful. Theyre basically in the business of taking your money and not want the resident wants future and present.
