They screwed up an oil change on my motorcycle. They forgot to tighten the oil drain plug and it popped open while I was going on the highway at 70mph. It leaked oil all over the highway, soaked up my rear tire completely in oil, and splashed oil on the helmets of people riding with me, making them unable to see the road properly. I'm glad we were able to walk away without crashing our motorcycles. I took it back to Cortese and they said they did an engine test, but I doubt my engine hasn't been damaged after that. All they offered was a refund for the labour charge, which I still didn't receive the check for (it's been 10 days). They endangered the lives of me and 2 other people riding with me, yet the person who I talked to at the store seemed so unbothered about it, and didn't even apologize, further he acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me for doing an engine test.

Hi Tony - We agree prices are high market-wide these past two years, but if you check out the NADA/Blue Book values or our competition, we are right on target and competitive in our pricing. Many 2021 bikes are worth more than they sold for just a few months ago, bone stock. This is what it costs to buy and sell bikes in the current economy and with the existing supply chain shortages. If you can find the same bike with the same mileage/features/color etc at a dealership that's close, Larry will usually meet the price for a bike that's apples to apples. We also remind folks that we have a 50+ point checklist we go through on EVERY single bike that comes through here for sale, and bikes under 36k miles (which is 95% of our inventory) come with a 90 day warranty, no customer split. That's peace of mind you can't get anywhere else. Yes, you absolutely can get a bike cheaper in a private sale, but it's not going to be fully serviced, it's probably not coming with a 90 day warranty and it's unlikely the seller is going to offer financing up to 72 months. We sell exceptionally clean, great-running bikes with a great warranty, and price them accordingly. We take trades too, and that can knock a chunk of change off the price too. With market-wide inventory shortages, what we pay for trades is up also, so give us a call if you want to talk specific numbers! If not, happy riding season! Cortese cycles is a great place for your motorcycle purchases or your service needs. The staff is great and very knowledgeable about motorcycles. Ive had all my service done on my 2020 street glide there and they have been great!!!

I just purchased my 2017 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob from them. Everyone that was involved was very helpful and they made things very easy. Im not from the area but they made paperwork and transfers very simple.

Hi Rob - We wish you would've said something if you were unhappy. Butch and Mike speak to every customer and don't recall anyone being disgruntled in the last week or so, so your review came out of left field for us. We're sorry you didn't have a better experience. As you can see by our volume of 5 star reviews, that's not generally how we do things here at Cortese Cycle Sales so we're at a bit of a loss. As for pricing, with any research, you would see we are right in line with Kelly Blue Book values and comparable pre-owned bikes at other dealerships, (if they have any inventory.) Our pre-owned bikes are generally superior (lower miles, more accessories, better overall condition, longer warranty) to other dealerships, so perhaps that's why our prices seem higher? Lastly, nationwide demand is still higher than inventory levels which drives pricing up even further. With the current fuel prices at $4.39/gallon, everyone wants a bike for the MPG, so demand is higher than ever. We do have value-priced bikes for price-conscious folks like yourself, but it sounds like maybe you found something else already. The epitome of greasy used vehicle sales. The salesperson was better suited for Raymour and Flanigan. Used bikes at new prices. Listening to the salesperson's bias and judgements of various types of buyers was disgusting. I took my business across the street.. again.
