I'm a bit disappointed with my first experience communicating with this agency in reference to the Deaf Work program. Was told transportation was set up and someone would be contacting me about transportation information and I had to do all the calling myself to figure out details when the details should have been provided to me for my daughter. Need to be more efficient in the information and services. Thanks!
The ease of scheduling is nice, but the process is not well defined within their online scheduler. Someone will likely call you to give you the what for for your next appointment. Small business owners that work on an appointment based schedule should heed **caution**. If your patient doesnt cancel with at least 48+hours notice, you will be billed despite giving this organization due notice. I do feel that this organization takes financial advantage of small businesses and does not care about the financial burden interpreting services can place on said small businesses. I would recommend seeking a not for profit organization instead of DSC.
