This is the WORST service/system that our business has ever been involved with. They have TERRIBLE customer service and the upper management DOES NOT return calls timely. They extort businesses out of money and DO NOT refund any monies paid as initial down payment, due to loss of work time for their faulty equipment. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE. (I wouldn't even give 1 star but I had to in order to post this comment:)
We recently changed our phone service to Star2Star and the set up and transition has been nothing short of a mess. Star2Star repeatedly dropped the ball and made careless mistakes, all of which have cost our company thousands of dollars because we were forced to keep our old phone service active for an extended period of time. At no point in time did I ever receive a phone call from anyone to discuss what was happening or to apologize for all the mistakes. It is very troubling that no one in this organization would be professional or grown up enough to accept responsibility for their mistakes -- very, very poor customer service. We requested a credit to our bill to compensate for the additional expenses and hassles and all we received was an email to our dealer that read "Unfortunately this was not approved". I would never recommend this company.
Star2Star as a whole, is a good telephone company. Had some issues with billing that took awhile to get fixed due to miscommunication and other things, but their management team was excellent. I appreciate the time they took to look into and resolve the issue. As for small business, I'm not sure I would recommend using Star 2 Star for the fact that it might not be the best available option as far as costs go. We aren't a large company so we do not necessarily need all the things that the phone does at the prices we are being charged. But for larger businesses they are great. Plenty of lines and abilities with the phones. They are not difficult to reach when problems arise and quick replies to emails. Their contract auto renews- so make sure you read all the fine print before signing. Our old CEO is who made up our contract- was a little more than what we actually needed- but Star 2 Star was willing to work with us to reduce some of the bill for services not being used. Overall I would recommend the company for people looking for a good ViOP company.

Terrible customer service, the contracts are shady. There are much better and cheaper options. We've been a customer for 7 years and we won't be renewing.
