The only reason I give this place any stars is because of the work they are doing. We went in thinking we were going to discover a new hidden gem of a thrift store, what we got was rude and unresponsive staff. We will not be returning.

I drove out here to pick up one of their Facebook marketplace offerings just for them to tell me it sold and they never updated the listing. Wish y'all would have answered the phone so I wouldn't need to drive there for nothing.

Joyful Journeys Community Enrichment is a wonderful non-profit organization. They strive to help all families and individuals regardless of their status. They always bring community events to communities that need it. They run a food bank and thrift store seven days a week, and work tirelessly to help anyone who comes through their doors. In addition, they run sports programs for kids that are not otherwise able to participate in sports.

Because our food pantry uses a guest self selection model as opposed to providing a pre made basket or box, here are the guidelines we follow when determining what items to offer. Sell By-JJs allows these items to remain on the shelf past date and our guests to choose whether to select them or not as this is a guideline used specific to the retailer as the last day they believe a monetary amount should be received for such items. Use By-JJs does not offer items past their Use By date due to food safety precautions Best By-JJs does place items past their Best By dates on the shelves because this is specific to the quality of the food, not safety. Joyful Journeys has opted for the self selection model so that guests can determine what is best for themselves and their families. Because we see over 18 families a day, we want to ensure that we have enough food to provide for such a high demand. Of course, we always try to offer the best selection of meats, dairy, produce and shelf stable items, free of charge, so please feel free to stop by any time and enjoy what you choose. God Bless

I love joyful journey and the event and the work they do for the community but I also fallen on hard times n have to use there food bank a couple times n the food always expired I get that it should be but milk and eggs n meat shouldn't be something you give if it passed it date now I only got here for the shopping and events they have !
