After driving 3 1/2 hours, I was denied service because I had a paper license from the state of Iowa, a state issued license valid in all 50 states and meets the requirements for IL cannabis laws (I checked the actual code). They claimed it was because they couldn't scan it, but made no attempt to do so. Pretty sure they thought I was trying to pull something. The hilarious part was the security guard told me they were the only dispensary open on Sunday as if to gloat, turns out there's actually a much better one in ED, friendlier staff, and hey took my ID, was able to scan it easily and had a very good experience. So now we know where to go next time, and it's even a bit closer than Galena with nicer people.

Love this location so much, we stop every single time were in Galena. Mekayla was so friendly today and provided us excellent service!

Everyone is very helpful answering questions and making suggestions. Taylor K. was our check out person. She was friendly, knowledgeable and also made a few suggestions of other things to see in Galena while we were there which we appreciated.

It will be so nice when we finally get some new stores opened. The current group are totally ripping us off with sub par product with premium pricing. The state of IL screwed up the process so bad, but operators like Verilife sure don't mind ripping us off. Can't wait for the mom and pop shops to open.
