Purely based on their response which is now nonexistent, they were better during lockdown. Have you actually gone bust now because no one ever replies to any contact. Guess we've lost our money. Shabby customer service.
We used this auction company in October for a childrens charity event. The set up and girls working the auction were amazing on the night and we sold a large amount of memorabilia. It was after the event the real issues began! It took the them 3 weeks to transfer the money raised over to the charity which took numerous calls from ourselves. We are now 6 weeks passed the event and people who paid for merchandise are still awaiting items that they paid for on the night. This has become totally embarrassing for the charity and resulted in the organisers having to constantly call the company for answers. The office staff and after sales is horrendous and I would strongly recommend not to use this company as it will just cause issues after the event that no charity wants!
I have worked alongside Fundraising Auctions for the past 6 years plus. They have always been efficient, and well organised. I would not hesitate in recommending them as a company to host a silent auction.
The long and painful saga this company has put myself and my family through is far too long to write on a review. I will say quite simply, they did not provide what was purchased at auction. The customer service right up to the very top of the company including Nick Simkin (Operations director) is absolutely dreadful when in contact but mainly unreachable. Avoid the company at all costs.
