I ordered a "stars and stripes" shirt through this website two weeks before 4th of July. The item was clearly listed in stock. Shoptiques informed that me that the item was NOT in stock, but did not give me an option to cancel. One day I got an email where Shoptiques said that the boutique (Bohemian Bliss) would order another and ship it out immediately. Well, they shipped it out late and with the cheapest shipping possible, so the shirt is listed to arrive July 6th. What am I going to do with this overpriced shirt after the holiday is over??? Customer service fail. I hope they make this right. (By the way, Shoptiques, if you think making me ship the item back is enough to "make it right"...think harder.) EDIT: As predicted, Shoptiques told me to ship the item back to get a refund WHICH I COULD HAVE DONE ANYWAY. I won't have the shirt I was planning on for a fun themed holiday photo with family and friends. Not shopping here again.
Do not buy anything at this company!! They are unprofessional and shady!! I ordered a pair of pants which I then asked to exchange for a different pair of pants because the original pant was too big. The woman at customer service said there is no cost for exchanges just send back the pants. But low and behold it is a lie. After I returned the original pant and received the enhanced version that still did not fit, I had to return the second pair of pants. So I returned them and paid for the shipping. They then wouldnt return my money only part of my money cause they said so had a credit now because the original pair of pants was considered a credit. At the end after weeks of talking to customer service they ended up charging me for two return stocking fees even though one pair of pants was an exchange. I would never recommend buying from here. So shady stick to companies like revolve and Shopbop since they are legit and do not screw you out of money.
Shoptiques is such a cool concept! Getting to shop different boutiques around the world from the comfort of my home (or while on the road) is awesome. It's the best place to find unique gifts for anyone. They have a great iPhone app too. Totally doing all my holiday shopping there this year.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. The sales pitch sounded fantastic and once they have your money you have only "email" support and every listing you try to upload - vendor photos included - are constantly disapproved, which means they're not live on their site, and then it's very inconsistent as to what gets approved, and when. They lie, deflect, don't offer support or announce you as a boutique partner as promised. Once they have your money everything is automated and they have essentially cut and run. Bad for customers and boutiques both in my opinion. The boutique loses a lot of time and $ and essentially then doesn't care about the customer as they would normally. The transaction is all through Shoptiques directly and not the boutique.
