They were great to rent through unfortunately they feel the need to keep a security deposit for a house that they rented to me that was roach infested when I moved in (they did take care of it sending in pest control) and the carpet was full of cat hair and cat liter (ruined a brand new vacuum)- they did send someone to clean the carpets. They took money from a water bill which I paid through the city every month including the last bill I was responsible for. Also charged for things that were written on my move in check list. I tried to send documents to an email and always get a response that the email thread has expired and my messages will not be delivered.

Properties are not vetted properly. Owner repeatedly lists illegal rental units. Beware you will not have all the state and federal protections if you rent from an improperly zoned property. Update: have tried now to contact these people several times for a human trafficking operation in one of the homes they manage. They will not respond. Guess I have to inform the authorities.

We have found the perfect rental company. The staff is always available to assist. Whether it be when your dog locks the patio door on a Sunday when youre outside mowing or you have some doors not up to par. The dedication that the maintenance team has to its renters is amazing! RENT QC IS ALL ABOUT MONEY AND HAS LITERALLY MADE 63RD ST THE NASTIEST STREET IN GOOSE CREEK. The owner is money hungry and will move anyone into the properties to make a buck. I've lived out here for 5yrs and though the previous owner was a sole owner/ maintenance he did a way better job on keeping the property clean and getting rid of problem tenants but not Rent QC long as you got money they will let you stay no matter how many times the police have came. We sat on our front porch and watched these girls from the 614 building jump on some poor dude and the police showed up but somehow they still are tenants and this wasn't the first incident from these same tenants. Someone was just shot in front of the same building and the police came door to door asking what has happened to the neighborhood and all we can say is Rent QC is the common denominator. Since they took over the trash is horrific out here like landfill levels the lazy tenants leave their trash anywhere including in front of the trash can untied so trash is just everywhere. Me and other neighbors have called the office multiple times about the situation and they say they are doing something about it but none of us can tell because it's still going on and the only thing they seem to care about is money. The landlord Rob said he was going to get rid of the problems but all he has done is add to the problems by moving anyone who got money into the properties.
