We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Our company specializes in buying antiques, estates, jewelry,silver and art. We generally sell to the trade or ship goods out of state and dont maintain a retail showroom. We do provide a service to buy antiques and estate goods at our location by appointment or we are happy to come to you.

They don't truly have a showroom. More so they buy items and then resell. Not sure how you would see the items since the address listed is a residential address. There website didn't offer much info on items available for sale.

Hello Mrs. Brown I am very sorry to hear about your experience , However I believe you have confused our company with a different dealer. I own this company and personally go out on all the inquiries and purchase items being offered for sale. I have no recollection of this transaction. So the experience you describe in your review simply did not happen with Old and New Shop. As a second generation antique dealer I pride myself on being able to find a solution to any situation that may come up. However in this case , I can not simply because I am not the responsible party here. I was taught to be honest, courteous, and if you're wrong admit it and make it right. I was also taught if you did nothing wrong , stand up for yourself and fight. I do have empathy for your situation , however you are falsely accusing me of a crime so i must strenuously respond that you are mistaken. It is odd to me that you would write a Google review rather than call me directly or even call the police based on what you wrote. It would appear you posted this review a month ago yet no one ever reached out to me or my company. My personal cell phone is 917-748-1244 , Please reach out so we may clear up what I feel is a case of obvious mistaken identity. Many dealers in my industry have similar names and I am sure at least you have made an error Identifying our company as the party involved here. I take my business reputation very seriously and would hope anyone reading your review would reach out and speak with me directly and make their own informed decision on whether to use our services. Extremely dishonest and untrustworthy. Stole 15 pieces of silver, 1 oil painting and cheated my mother on a statue. I strongly recommend never to do business with these people.

We used the Old and New Shop recently to sell some jewelry and furniture. Made a phone call and they were there the next day. Bob the owner was a pleasure to deal with. He was honest and professional with very fair prices. I would highly recommend the Old and New Shop and use them again in the future.
