The trails are decent mostly paved or gravel. I have been to about 20-25 different Massachusetts Audobon Wildlife Sanctuaries this year. I have never seen so much trash everywhere throughout the woods of a sanctuary like there is at this one. It was really disappointing to see that it isnt more well kept. Alot of it could have to do with the highways and main roads along side of it.
We checked in with our team and they confirmed they were in touch within a few hours and the hawk flew off on its own accord. In the future, your best bet is to contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. https://www.mass.gov/service-details/find-a-wildlife-rehabilitator Thanks for your passion for birds and wildlife!

Great Resource if they were open or available. Tried getting help for a Red tailed hawk in Charlestown, but they weren't available.
