RENTERS: if you have a choice, dont rent a Bluestone property. PROPERTY OWNERS: looking for a professional management company for your property? Would you prefer that the people living in your property arent extremely frustrated and that maintenance issues are addressed in a reasonable timeframe? If so, dont use Bluestone. RELOCATION SERVICE PROVIDERS: strongly discourage your clients from renting a Bluestone property - this is the type of local knowledge that people pay for. You should know that this company does an extremely poor job managing their properties. I expect three things from any landlord or property manager: (1) accurate information, (2) timely communication, (3) follow through. Bluestone has failed repeatedly on all three fronts. The first copy of the lease they sent me didnt include my dogs. I flagged it and had to wait nearly 24 hours for an updated version. The second (and final/signed) copy of the lease is inaccurate. I was told I was responsible for all utilities. I asked multiple times about utility providers and account set up (Im new to the area and just started a new job - I really thought they could tell me where to sign up for power). I was basically told: go to portlandmaps .com and figure it out. So I did. I submitted a request to create a water accountit wasnt until someone from the city water department called and told me, I dont think you want to do this, the different units in your building arent metered separately, that I knew the information Bluestone gave me over the phone, over text, and in our signed lease agreement was incorrect. Same happened for trash collection. I submitted multiple maintenance requests on July 18 and only one (the window AC unit) has been addressed. That one was only addressed because I called every day and then threatened to install the unit myself since it was going to be nearly 100F all of the next week. I have called multiple times about the other outstanding requests and keep being told it will be addressed - but unless I call literally every day, I dont have any hope thats going to happen. Not having to deal with maintenance and other stuff like this is why I rent instead of own - I dont have time off work to take care of this stuff. Oh, and, most of it was supposed to be taken care of on July 21but Bluestone didnt have a key to my unit. Property owners, I imagine knowing a tenant has the only keys to your property is super comforting! I want to give the Bluestone team the benefit of the doubt and assume theyre just totally understaffed right now? But I dont know. All I know is that dealing with them has been the worst rental experience I have ever had. These stories are not all. Seriously, avoid this company at all costs.
This is a wonderful review for Israel and our Maintenance Team at Bluestone, thank you for taking the time, we truly appreciate it.

I love at the garden location in Beaverton and I honestly have never lived in a place where the maintenance is so active and on top of tenant repairs and request and needs. They don't micro manage but ensure the properties are cared for and clean. Israel Horton was our tech this time and he was great with communication and kindness and mindful of me working from home when doing his work. Grateful for this management company and making the choice to choose this apartment.
They'll take your application fees and then never contact you on whether you were approved or even screened at all. Calling the number will get someone who will refer you to a leasing office which will ignore you. Looking at reviews, seems like they're nice to work with so it's pretty surprising honestly.
