Jordan, I'm afraid you have us confused. We have no record of your name in our files as a tenant, and we have not received any complaints directly to our office regarding a dissatisfied tenant who has recently vacated a property under our management. We have systems in place for a tenant to dispute a charge back upon vacancy, which would include a review by our resolution committee. However, it appears this is a case of mistaken management company.

Moved out of our apartment after two years. After cleaning the apartment for the better part of two weeks, they still won't give us our full security deposit back. We wrote our rebuttals and after waiting over a month, Spencer, you still won't do the right thing. The apartment looked cleaner and had all new bulbs put in. We moved into the apartment with duck taped carpet, broken window screens, missing light bulbs and chandelier cover (which we replaced) You guys really know how to rip people off. Oh and what's the point of having a phone number for your office if you never answer the phone? I mean seriously! We're so glad we will never have to rent from you again. Two stars because we had good neighbors. One star for Brandi and Spencer *1003 N Stilson Rd. You "manage" that property.

Hello Chad, it is unfortunate you feel the conclusion of your tenancy did not finish the way you had hoped. Please note that charges against a security deposit are not personal, and our office stives to ensure work performed is fair and equal to the responsibilities of the tenant per the rental agreement. We also offer the ability for a tenant to dispute those charges with our office that is reviewed by a committee of staff members separate from your property manager to work to see if any additional adjustments are warranted. It appears that you had taken the opportunity to dispute those charges and the committee had found the original charges against your deposit to be correct and fair per the rental agreement. Despite that, in the spirit of compromise, the committee provided hundreds of dollars in additional reimbursements back to you provide a return that the committee believed was more than fair. Unfortunately, our office is unable to outright disregard the terms of a rental agreement which is why some security deposit funds continued to be withheld at the completion of your tenancy. Despite your disappointment we sincerely wish you the best of luck to you and your family on your housing moving forward.

If you are a tenant, just plan on loosing your deposit. We took video and pictures of all the issues with the property when we entered. Upon leaving we received notice that they had charged us for the repair those of those same issues. We disputed with the evidence to no a avail. I wouldn't be surprised if the previous tenant and the ones following all recieve the same bill and no repairs are actually made.

Over the past couple months I have been renting through Realty Management and I have nothing but good things to say. Their communication about what going on is very straight forward. They do not try to sneak in fees or charges when it comes time to pay rent and if there is a charge their is an explanation on what it is for. Also, if we need something checked on or fixed at the house we do not hesitate calling or putting in a work order. In the past we were always worried about contacting our property manager because they were sneaky with fees and not friendly. DaNay is the person we go through and she has made it so smooth and stress free. We have no problem reaching out if anything comes up. She is awesome with everything and if she does not know something she gets back to us in timely manner. Overall, DaNay and RMA are awesome

7/19/19- After reviewing the previous tenants updated review our office attempted to make contact with the tenant today for further discussion before our office provides a response. The previous tenant unfortunately was not open to discussing it further. Our office will prepare and respond to this previous tenants review in a timely manner. 7/24/19 - It is unfortunate that online review platforms have no filtering for facts. There are always two sides to every story. RMA keeps documented records with photographic evidence. RMA has a simple process for tenants to dispute their disposition, instructions for which are provided at time of move out. Withholdings from security deposits are distributed to the property owner for reimbursement of expenses due to tenant neglect or abuse. A tenant is never charged for repairs or upkeep due to normal wear and tear. All transactions in this case followed procedure and were handled in a professional manner.

UPDATE 7/19/19 9:34PM: I am at a loss for words with the lack of professionalism, and respect from this company. What followed after I wrote my review completely took me by surprise, in the worst way possible. I received a call at 7:29 AM which woke me up, I have a very busy schedule therefore I value my sleep. I missed the call, and the caller didn't leave a voicemail. Later, at 9:55 AM I received a call from the same number, which I answered, he was quick to introduce himself, it was Spencer from Realty Management, he didn't have any phone etiquette whatsoever, he straight up told he was calling regarding the review, and he told me that in order to reply to the review he was going to HAVE to include pictures with my personal information, I could not believe this. I didn't even know what to say, instead of him trying to figure out a way to work it out, he chose to be nasty and threaten me, he didn't even stop there, he said that he was going to disclose my mother's information as well. My mother had nothing to do with this, she didn't even know about the review, she was only my co signer, and when I had renewed the contract she was not in it and this was years ago, this was just extremely uncalled for. I told him that he didn't HAVE to disclose any personal information in order to reply to my review. I'm assuming that he thought that by being a bully, threatening me, and trying to intimidate me by posting my personal information online (which by the way is illegal) I would change the review. How is blackmail an acceptable way to conduct a business? I do not appreciate this kind of behavior at all, if he would've had a different approach, things would've gone differently. I've rented from these guys for many years, and I'm sad to say that this is not a company of integrity. They do not care if you take care of the property and pay on time, they make money off ripping people off, renters beware. I always paid my rent on time, the second place that I rented had an extreme case of bug pest, ants and spiders everywhere, I notified them the day I moved in, they told me that I should hire someone to take care of it. The place had an outdated fireplace, that was illegal, because it didn't allow for proper flow of carbon monoxide, this was news to me, the person who told me this was from the gas company, and realty management was well aware of it, but they didn't care. The place was in a good location so I stayed and renewed the contact for another year, I definitely avoided the fireplace. In the original contract my mom was my co singner since I was young and didn't have a credit history, my mom never lived there and I was the one who paid rent. When I renewed the contract it was under my name, my signature only. When the contact was up I moved out, I had the house deep cleaned. It had been over a month so I called to ask where the check for the refund of the deposit was, they said they didn't have a forwarding address when I had given it to them, to my very unpleasant surprise I got charged hundreds of dollars on top of them keeping my $800 deposit, it made no sense, especially considering I left the place in much nicer condition than when I received it. I called numerous times and they didn't get back to me ,so they sent me to collections... When I finally got a hold of them, and told them I wanted to dispute the charges, they told me I was too late and I should've done it sooner, as if that isn't bad enough my mom who had absolutely nothing to with the rental for over a year, and her name and signature were not on the renewal contract, also got sent to collections. I paid it, but not because I owed them anything, but because my mother didn't deserve to have her good credit affected due to these leeches. I am now a homeowner, and I plan to put my house for rent soon, but seeing how they treat renters, I would never consider doing business with them.
