Ive been a long time customer here, and have spent hundreds of dollars over the years. The way Im treated by staff has been less than stellar. I was charged twice for a plant and wasnt refunded. I exchanged a pointsettia and they were snippy with me saying I had left the plant out in the cold. Im an expert grower and didnt leave the plant out in the cold.

The greenhouse looks beautiful. But I wont purchase from Varners again, until I hear their product has improved. The flowers begin wilting within one week of taking them home. And then die within the month. This has happened for at least the last two years. It almost seems as though the plants cant survive outside their greenhouse. Im attaching a photo of petunias in fresh soil and a large pot. Ive never seen petunias wilt, wilt outside, or wilt within one day of taking them home from a greenhouse.

I was nervous about going so late in the planting season, but I am so stoked that I did!! They had a very nice selection of beautiful annuals, all 25% off, from flats and pots to hanging baskets!! I bought quite a bit an walked put only spending close to $40.00 on annuals that will bloom all the way into Autumn! I would never had been able to leave Lowes or Menards with that kind of price! My daughters and I also love visiting the big bunny rabbit and gorgeous talking Macaws!! And the best part EVER, it was not busy at all!! Even being slow, but steady, the care takers were working very hard, and the checkout staff were very sweet and helpful!! I recommend Varner's this time of year if u dont mind planting a little later ;)
