A nice step up from a tent. The cottage was cozy and comfortable with a small shower and separate small toilet room. Each room had it's own sink and one room had a mini fridge. The windows open let enough air in through the screens that when combined with the cieling fan, it was actually chilly at night. It was a little dusty but that's definitely to be expected, we'd stay here again.
Sunset terrace rooms were old, dated, and very unclean Nasty. We booked 3 rooms for a group of nine. Rooms smelled of mildew and one bathroom had black mold growing on ceiling and tile. Tub faucet had a consent leak and to make it worse it wouldn't drain. Had to drive 35 mins to a walmart in Glascow to get clean fitted sheets because they didnt have any. Ice machines were broke. The last straw was when the toilet started backing up for no reason and would not go down. Our group decided to leave a night early. I guess we are out the $150x3 a night they charged us. Hopefully the cabins there are nicer if not I would recommend staying in Cave City or even further South. Pretty piss poor this is a state park resort. Gives Kentucky a bad name!!!
