I bought a Toyota a couple of years ago and loved the experience. In fact, I had planned on buying only from Toyota in the future. However, dealing with the service department and the managers has been a nightmare. I bought warranty on the SUV..first mistake.. because I was having problems with my driver door. I took the car to the service department get the SUV checked. The service woman said I would have to pay a fee, around 75 dollars, to see if the issue is covered under warranty. When I asked her to look up my warranty, the woman said she would have to ask her manager...she didn't know if they could do that. The manager #1 came over...and instead of pulling up my warranty.. he checked my car door and said he new the problem...so a diagnostic did not have to be done... and he's 99% sure warranty covers the problem. He said he will call on Monday, September 19th, and make sure. He left to go get the paperwork. The woman returned, and advised she was going to take my car back to do a diagnostic..(total opposite of what the manager just said literally one minute before). I told the woman manager 1 said it wasn't' necessary.. She went to get the manager.... A separate manager, I'll call him manager 2, came over..with a condescending tone... and said we can't fix your car unless we know what is wrong with it.. So they took the SUV back... Manager 1 returned and said Where's your car? I told him... and he said I will go get it..no diagnostic is needed...h Manager 2 came back and apologized TOTAL confusion... In the end, manager 1 said he would call me on Monday. I never hear from him again after trying to contact him several times... after several attempts, I tried to call the general manager.. he didn't call me back. So two weeks later I am still having the same problem with my door which is unfortunate. I have done nothing but brag about this place previously. I will never be back.
I came to this dealer to trade an Infiniti g37 on a new car. Stood around for 15 minutes and no one ever came outside. Stuck on high horses and low income people so I understand. I would sit down too if I werent making much. I took the cash and car elsewhere and ended up trading. Stay away and take your money to Nissan, they dont rust out either haha!
Thank you so much for your kind words, John-paul. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. Cheers, Johnson City Toyota

Super easy experience from the sale to the delivery. Adam Mosley was great to work with and Craig in finance made it easy.
Bought a couple vehicles from here with great people but went in a few months ago to inquire about a Jeep Cherokee, the salesman was rude and just walked off when he couldnt make the sale! The sales people have changed and the ones working there now are very rude except for the sales manager. Will never go back to buy from Johnson City Toyota again!
