The staff are honestly so rude..they dont let the kids have phones or eat snacks. They literally take anger out on the kids. My friend that was new lost the privilege of standing for eating snacks?! Horrible experience!!!
Ive been a tutor here since starting college in 2012. It started as just a job and last year even when I started my career, I found myself missing the environment and helping the students. I returned as a volunteer tutor and I love partaking in their fundraising events too, especially now that I have my own money to give back. This place not only helps students with their homework, they also help them learn how to be a leader and how to make a positive impact in their community. I return today as a matter of fact as a volunteer again for the school year and I hope my schedule allows me to continue volunteer here until theyre sick of me. The students are driven and have more enthusiasm about their future than I ever did which is refreshing.
