Good afternoon Elaine, thank you for your review. We did explain to you that we needed to strip the engine as the misfire was still present. The injector values were reading out and could have caused the valves to coke up. We also recommended that the remap be taken off to illuminate that. You declined the work.

Have a A45 that's has been misfiring been told to come to these guys and booked it in. They had the car a week to say it was cylinder 4 and changes the injector charged us 750 for then to be exactly the same if not worse. Took it some where else and to be told it needs an engine strip and rebuild. German autocare are totally there just to rob you out of your hard earned money. Defo won't be going there again. As for your response you NEVER said it would need a engine strip, you asked for the remap to be taken off which I declined as you wasn't prepared to put it back on. You also wanted to charge us an extra 160 to do a compression test ti find out what was wrong? But I have been told if you knew what you we're doing you should have known changing the injector wouldn't have worked anyways. I do believe that what we had to pay for the work done was a diagnostic and injector for 750. Just because I'm female doesn't mean you think you can take the Michael out of me and charge me whatever you want.
Im sorry Peter that on this occasion we couldnt fit you in any sooner. We are a busy company and trying to get more technicians to allow us to get through the work faster. I hope we can accommodate you next time
Weve known German Autocare for many years and wouldnt think about going anywhere else with our two cars. Steve and Richie are our usual points of contact, although we find everyone in their team professional and courteous. We find these two guys to be exceptional. Yes they are set up equally as well as a main dealer but the thing I really like about these guys is how they deal with us. German Autocare are always extremely busy, a sign of their reputation and commitment to customer service. I highly, highly recommend them.
Good Morning Michael, Thank you for your review and Im sorry you have felt the need for a 1 star review. On this occasion the quote was via a phone call. We had relayed the information to the supplier and unfortunately due to having many undertrays on the vehicle the incorrect parts were quoted for. As we value customer service this is the reason why we gave the option of having the correct undertrays (now we had seen the vehicle) supplied at cost with free fitting. I hope you can understand our position on this and that we have done our upmost to help you in this situation. We hope to be of service still in the future as you are a valued customer of German Auto Care ltd Kindest Regards

We started using German Auto Care this year following recommendations from friends and family who take their vehicles here. Up until our latest experience we were happy with the service albeit them being a bit more expensive than the garage we were using previously. I don't really go for writing reviews but following our experience and asking for the reasons and giving them our feedback they did not seem bothered at all and I came away feeling so frustrated and angry. We rang to explain the work we needed doing on our car, we were told they would call us back with a price. Over 2 hours later we had to chase for a price - 160, Okay please book it in. We agreed a day and made arrangements to get the vehicle there for when they opened. A little later after dropping the car off they call us to say it was going to be nearly double and went on to blame the company they buy the parts from for the error. When we argued this change they come back with an offer to fit just one of the under trays for free and give us the part at cost? They went on to say the other under tray isn't needed because it covers the gearbox which sits higher in the channel under the car. So their compromise was to have 1 out of the 2 under trays fit for 10 more than quoted and a part that was deemed necessary when the car was designed and built is no longer required. We refused the work out of principal and will take our car elsewhere in future and will share our experience with our family and friends. If they had quoted the amount up front we would no doubt have still booked it in and had the work done. If they were unsure on the part required ask to see the car to assess! Or stick to the price quoted and take your error on the chin and ultimately keep your customer satisfied and them coming back in the future. Poor customer service and in our opinion a poor business decision to not take a small hit on this job has resulted in them losing our custom. Judging by the way they have dealt/spoken with us they probably don't care about little old us which is the main reason for us deciding to write this review, Are they treating more of their customers with this attitude? or even trying this tactic to get cars in and then up the price on the day for the works?
