Avoid like the plague. Incredibly unprofessional, rude, hateful group of people, and they have no qualms about hiding any of that. They particularly have a reputation for preying on student tenants and that reputation was proved true when we leased with them, and they sought to rip us off a number of times over the course of two years. At one point we were in a dispute over the lease, and the person who actually wrote their lease was siding with us and they didn't seem to care. I have spoken with several local legal counsels and they agree that Jamar is considered one of the worst rental companies in the area. Every interaction with them was outwardly hostile. In the last few months of being there (during the pandemic) we have several instances of them entering the house without notice and without masks. If you have another option of rental company, I highly suggest you avoid Jamar Properties whenever possible.

Came here to sign the lease form and was helpful in going through the complete process. Had to wait for more than half an hour though.

I stopped into Jamar Property Management yesterday to drop off our HOA dues for our neighborhood and James was there. We talked for a little bit and I let him know that I didn't think they deserved their 1.6 star rating. I have known James for quite some time and he is very involved in the local community. Thanks for taking care of our neighborhood HOA and for doing your part to make Bloomington a better place.
