I worked in this shop and was openly discriminated against for my learning disability, and was always treated unfairly compared to my colleagues (ex colleagues now) If you have a learning disability and are looking for a job DO NOT apply for Hamleys. when my representative was told that they don't need to make reasonable adjustments when it comes to the business needs HR was present and could not care less that I was being discriminated against cause of my disability they practically refused as a company to make reasonable adjustments for my disability.
If there was an option for zero stars that would be the selection I would be making. I ordered 5 items from them on 30th November and we are now 5 days away from Christmas and all I have received is a set of bubbles out of my order. I have contacted customer services 4 times to be told that the order has been dispatched I have asked for an email to confirm but told that they are unable to send emails on the weekends? I was promised a call back and then had to ring again for them to tell me I had to wait 72 working hours for a call back to which I never received the call anyway. Their customer service staff are extremely unhelpful and do not give you accurate information before putting the phone down leaving you feeling clueless the conversation actually got you anywhere. I have now just been told that my order will be with me before Christmas and that an email will be sent, I am unsure how this will happen as she did not ask for my name order number or any other of my details so I find it a little hard to see how she will chase my order up at all. You are on hold for over an hour with just a ring for them to try and get you off the phone as quickly as possible. Considering the name hamleys has made for themselves and how prestigious the brand is supposed to be Im extremely dissatisfied and I will not be shopping here again and I will definitely not be recommending to any one either.
