wow. where to begin? i'll preface this review by saying i/ve never posted a public review. that being said, my experience with mac designs in indiana was so incredibly frustrating that it has to be done. MAC was referred and had great pricing. though it's out of state, i was compelled to check it out. i worked cathy. to her credit, all emails were pleasant, but over 6 months, all follow up was completed by me. literally, EVERY follow up. i saved correspondence if anyone would like to see the absolute disaster to be called our "communication." without referring back, i can think of 4 emails and 3 phone calls (unreturned after leaving 2 messages) in which the response was, "sorry, we've been really busy." first, it was busy for summer, then fall sports; there was never a time it wasn't "busy." as a business owner, i can only be thankful to be busy, and i'm glad they are blessed with business, but 3 emails, 3 calls, and 2 messages over a month, with ZERO response is unacceptable. order was submitted on a thursday, and i am told it can be printed and shipped the very next day, friday, expected delivery wednesday-friday of the following week, tracking info to be sent. though i was skeptical, this was very exciting news, as several months passed before order submission. having never received the tracking information, i waited the entire next week and called the monday after; left message, no response. i emailed the next day, tuesday, no response. i receive email response wednesday saying it hadn't shipped, and hadn't even been PRINTED. of course, it's been "busy." i am told the order will ship by the week's end, time frame to print/ship 2 days, and to expect tracking info upon shipment, delivery by mid to late the following week. again, no tracking info comes, and i receive notification of shipment the next week, not within the promised time frame, again. shipment arrives, and 9/24 pieces are printed correctly.this puts 15, OVER 1/2 the order, printed crooked. look, my previous business was haircutting shears, retail, OEM, distribution, so i know a bit about the manufacturing process. we produced precision instruments costing up to 3000USD/pair, and degree of production difficulty was quite high. even still, expected manufacturer defects ranged from 2-4% per order, 5% at the absolute most. my tshirt order came at 62.5% flawed, and this INCLUDED two shirts i accepted with manufacture defects, but the print job by mac designs was perfect. i proceed to take multiple pictures, on person, laid flat, folded, using a solid tape measure to show crooked print, and reply email. they respond by asking if i tried on the shirts, and that sometimes crooked seams in production make the print look crooked. i did, in fact, try on every single shirt, minus the small womens' i couldn't fit, and took pictures. i offered to send them pictures of every individual shirt; declined via no response. they reprint the remaining 15 quickly and perfectly, and misprints are returned. at this point, order is completely fulfilled, and i am ready to submit a second order. the reply received is a message saying due to the problems with the first order, they are unable to work with me further. they claim all original shirts were printed correctly, they took a loss taking those returns, and that "hopefully, this knowledge will help me in the future." now, i have moved passed aggravated to pissed and personally insulted. not only do i have emails to prove zero follow up communication, detailed pictures showing lateral margin differences of over an inch and pitch differences of 3/4 inch, i now receive a condescending email essentially saying my lack of knowledge caused this whole debacle, and that nothing was ever wrong. to add, they shipped sans payment. in fact, i was told to expect call for payment 3 times, after i reminded them twice, and after receiving complete order. absolute nightmare. great price, but you get what you pay for. plenty of emails/pictures if anyone wantsconfirmation or to dispute my claims. just want to save someone else the trouble.
