Cancellation Rip-off: We have been members for years and recently decided to end our membership. Were asked if we wanted to cancel effective immediately, which we did, and then were charged a week later for the entire month, because we did not cancel prior to the 1st of the month...though it was never explained that we would still be charged (since we hadn't yet paid that month). SO we got stuck with an extra month's bill and not able to use the facilities despite paying for them. Shame because we probably would have rejoined in the future and sent our kids to sports here as we had in the past, but no longer care to give them any of our money after this experience left a very bad taste.

We loved the chapel and boathouse venue from the looks. The grounds are absolutely stunning for pictures etc. We were told our tables and chairs would be setup prior to us getting there to setup. We were doing a small wedding and the YMCA only gives you limited time to setup. We even bought extended time. Nothing was done. Nothing swept off, nothing setup, nothing as promised. We were told we would have ice. The day before they called to tell us we would not have ice. We knew they didnt have kitchen faculties on the grounds and that was fine. We worked through it but dont promise and then pull back the day before an event. Planning has been made already. This event site is very very unorganized. The rep they had on site to turn lighting on and off sat in her vehicle. We needed access to lights since it got dark and did not have access. It was in a locked room. We were promised the chapel lights would be left on for sunset pictures. They were not. This venue is an unorganized mess. If they are going to host and rent their venue they need better organizing.

Had a great tour with Jada, she was incredibly friendly and relatable. She showed us all the things the YMCA has to offer as well as the things that make the Warlick YMCA so special. Thank you for such a great experience!
