Dire. I've often been overcharged here, and handed non-legal tender in the change, so I rarely use it anymore but today it was the nearest and I was in a hurry. Now some staff don't know how to operate the PayPoint terminal for "updating energy keys", which is not a problem unique to Spar, unfortunately, but the member of staff in this Spar was arrogantly ignorant and rude.
Most of the time you get great service but there are one or two staff members who can be rude at times. Obviously being a convenience store it is expensive but they do some good deals.

I was a complete arsenal of bile and defensiveness, and these lovely ladies on Boxing Day dealt with me perfectly. Fair play and ease send my sincere apologies for any bad behaviour. I mean it. Sorry and thank you for being cool.
Great shop. Everything is well displayed and easy to find. However, one staff member is unprofessional. Touching my nose due to a sun burn shouldn't lead to being threatened to not be served with a lovely anecdote of his close friends having covid. If you are in close contact with a positive patient you are the bigger threat to your community. Wearing a mask is a more effective way of reducing your chances of catching covid compared to threatening a customer.
