I have used this software in a bio-identical hormone practice in Pittsburgh, PA. There were a lot of "glitches" and the office manager had to call numerous times for this reason. Also, this company certainly does not have a problem taking your money, but getting your money back is nearly impossible! I had an employee admit to his error/mistake which cost me $459.00, but I have yet to get that money refunded. I am also waiting to be compensated for another error an employee made when the practice closed. Charges continued to be taken out of my account for the Clover device that they recommended I get. I have emailed and spoken on the phone to 2 or 3 different employees, and nothing has come of it....these unwanted charges were brought to my attention in July. I am out almost $700.00. A lot of money, especially right before Christmas!!
First and foremost use a payment method that will dispute in your favor if needed, because once they have your money there is no more communication. We purchased this program under the premise (after asking and being told several times) that it would work with apple products no problem. Once we purchased we were then told there is no straight up interface with apple, you have to install a parallel program to run on apple products. This was not something we discussed nor is it something we were willing to do because we did not know how this (subscription based) parallel program would affect our products. We requested a refund, to this day we have sent several emails requesting a refund. The only email we received back was an email trying to sell us on something else. This company has some shady practices. So in closing if you do decide to use them, ensure you protect yourself don't pay a lot in advance because they won't prorate and use a payment method that will open a dispute for you.
We have been with PatientNow for over 10 years now. All I have to say is the improvements they have made over the years has been very beneficial for our practice as well I'm sure others. It is user friendly and easy. The support department has always gone far and beyond to help us when any issues come up. They are an amazing department. Thank you! Would definitely recommend PatientNow to any practice!!
I have been with patient now for a year and a half at this point. At the beginning on boarding was rough because the software is quite complicated, but after the initial 3 months things seemed better. Their functionality and features were amazing. Over the last 6 months things have deteriorated quite a bit, the software is extremely slow and when I ask about it they blame me, claiming that it's my computer (the exact one that they recommended I buy), or that I can't run anything else on my computer including a browser. And at this point I can't even get in contact with anybody from customer support or customer service it takes a week or more to get a call or an email back. I am actively looking to switch, I hope I can find a company that has better service and a better product.
