Really bad. They make you answer tons of really really personal questions before they will treat you. They will cancel your appointment if you don't do it, then the therapist that you have never met will grill you on all the horrible parts of your life and health before ever asking why you are there.
Thank you for sharing your great experience with the counselor & concern about fees. Unfortunately we must charge how the insurance plan processes. Like many things that seem difficult in this pandemic season, sometimes insurance reps quote providers a different fee then what actually processes . We cannot control what insurance quotes or how it processes . We are happy to work out a payment plan for you if youd like to continue to work with this therapist you liked!

The counselor I met with was great, however I was told over the phone I had no copay. I checked w my insurance and the front desk at 180. They both said that. I double checked when I got there, still said zero payment. The next day I get a call that there was a mistake and I owe $120. I understand that happens so I paid. Then, a few weeks later I get a bill for another 70 something dollars. So what went from a zero cost out of my pocket turned into almost $200. I know seeing a therapist can be expensive but I would have never went for that price. So they can just say any price and change it afterwards. Thats bad for business. I had spoken to someone who said theyd look into it but of course they called for their payment anyways. Its sad how unaffordable mental health assistance is. I would not recommend dealing with this business.
The counselors are contractors, not employees. My counselor missed several appointments with no advance notice. The front office staff did not seem to care.
