The battery installed during your December 2020 replacement was new and passed all our quality assurance tests before being returned to you. We always notify customers before we use any used parts in repairs. Although you did not accept our offer to replace this battery for free, we are glad you were able to find a solution that worked for you.

BEWARE OF SIMPLIFIED COMPUTERS: I had Simplified Computers install a "new" battery into my Mac. It could be the case they they lied and installed a used battery into my computer. Before I describe that, firstly know that for a battery install they charge almost $100 more than an Apple store. You're better off driving a couple hours up north to do it because then you know you're getting an actual Apple battery that is brand new, plus FOR FREE Apple will replace your keyboard if you have worn keys. What's more, it seems like Simplified took too long to give my product back. Regardless, after only 6 months, the battery that they installed was garbage. It would not hold a charge for more than about an hour. Moreover, their battery exploded inside my computer by swelling up so big that it popped open the bottom case. Their solution to their customer was to charge me again to have them replace it, but this time they'd knock off about $50. The Apple rep showed me that the battery that Simplified sold me had had 347 charge cycles, which according to the Apple rep "is suspicious." He said that it is very unusual that after only 6 months there are 347 cycles. Without saying it, it seemed insinuated that Simplified had so me a used battery. Simplified definitely sold me a defective battery. Instead of good faith free replacement they wanted to charge me for yet another possibly used or defective battery plus charge labor (at a discount this time (yay)). They will say that they only have a 30 day warranty on batteries, etc., yeah yeah save it. Batteries usually last 30 days you thieves. And remember, the only reason that the battery broke after 30 days is because they sold me a defective, exploding, product. This place is not honest, they do not want to help customers, and so AVOID them. They should know how painful it is to be without a computer because of their slow two weeks, plus their bad product caused me to lose 8 more days by taking it to Apple. If they would've simply replaced it with something new, they would've had a customer for life, making potentially thousands of dollars with me. Now they're getting reported to the Better Business Bureau. So ignorant.

yeah I wouldn't never recommend this place to anyone. First time taking my PC to get work on. Reason this place get's 1 star. Had countless of times being lied to (due date my computer would be done)and false statements. Also called to cancel the work in time since it wasn't touch after 5 days. It was agreed upon. so , i go in to pick it up but still got charge a full hour ....after talking over the phone with an older lady! So if you do want your PC to be hold for weeks and lied to.. then this is your place!

They are way better than Geek Squad. I didn't have to make an appointment and they immediately knew what the issue was. They fixed my computer in 2 business days and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone with computer issues in the area.
