As the Director of operations for Kitchen & Bath Decor, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to place a review online for our company. As you may recall, my name is Jonathan and I was the gentleman on the design team that went to your property to review your project. I would like to make a few clarifications to some of the key points you indicated in your posting. Let me first start by addressing the unprofessional nature of our tardiness for your appointment. Our staff drove through 80% rain and thunderstorms in order to make it to your home. We did in fact provide a courtesy call earlier that day to inform you that our appointments were running behind. We did this in an attempt to ensure that you were still willing to host us for a consultation and give you the option of rescheduling. You were more than agreeable with pushing the appointment back and even stated that you would be home for most of the day, but apparently that is neither here nor there. During the consultation, you indicated that you had an insurance claim for the water damage in the primary bedroom and bathroom. You then proceeded to berate and belittle the contractors that your insurance company had provided, using excessive amounts of profanity and stating aggressively that you would take care of them. Our associate,empathizing with your situation, offered to give you the contact information for an independent insurance adjuster to aid with your issues, and in fact did not offer for our company to work with your insurance. We also offered to provide you with the information of another individual who could test the moisture levels in the damaged flooring. We then made it very clear that we were not a water restoration company nor do we work with insurance claims to mediate water damage. Instead of showing gratitude for our kindness, you decided to utilize the internet to antagonize a company who only had intentions to help. No one on our team had any intention of cutting you out of your claim. The actuality of the situation is that when our team heard what was said of the previous contractors and reputable insurance company, we knew that this was not going to be a positive relationship nor one that we would want to partake in. It was simply alarming and off putting, with the level of hostility directed towards these individuals, who had not truly worked on the project as explained by you so eloquently. At this point, upon the realization that we were not simply going to provide you with an inflated bid for you to take care of your insurance company, you rudely began rifling through your closet and dismissed us through your actions. This left the design team a bit confused and dismayed as to why we were even there in the first place. Much like a consumer has the right to choose where they purchase, our company has the right and privilege to chose what jobs they will take. After 25 years in the business, this right has been more than earned. From the moment you began your spiel of vulgarity, we knew that you were not the right customer for us to invest in and build a relationship with. So we would like to thank you for showing your true intentions in your home and reconfirming them in this lovely review. We wish you the best of luck in your renovations and all future endeavors. Decent materials, but this company tried to cut me out of my own insurance claim to maximize their profits. The staff is very unprofessional and dishonest. I had an appointment and they showed up 1 hr 50min late. Then as soon as they heard I had an insurance claim, they started this very shady spiel and how they can work with my insurance directly and get me the most out of the claim. I let them know that I was more than capable of working with my own insurance and that I obviously wouldn't agree to them cutting me out of my own claim. Only very shady companies try to do this, and it never benefits the homeowner. Do not fall for this tactic, there are so many nightmare stories when companies do this.

Thank you so much for your erroneous review nothing could be further from the truth we are trying to help every single person and Im so sorry that we were running late for your appointment that day. Our answering service made an error in the fact that the appointment. In todays times its very rare that an owner of a company actually goes and sees every single project herself so forgive her she is human but We will continue to give our heart and our expertise to every single client and in your case we did everything humanly possible to accommodate you things happen for reasons and were grateful that we did not move forward in assisting you with your project its unfortunate that it did not work out but we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors but like you said in your text message to the owner that youre going to put this and try to negatively reflect on our company on review sites we will not be cyber bullied by you and remember social media works both ways and the fact that we were not able to make an appointment is no reason to try to be ugly or misrepresent the true facts of the situation our clients love us and they can read through the obvious so sorry that you will not be a client of ours. Dont waste your time with people who dont keep their commitments. I called them for a remodel. Mind you Im doing 4 bathrooms and a kitchen. Owner reached out after my inquiry and was eager to meet. She (Celeste) insisted that the first appointment be at her showroom to review Initial scope and see selections. I was told that she or her sister would meet me at 5oclock on Friday. I drove across town to meet them only to be met by two gentlemen who were unaware of my coming and did not know about the process but would gather some information and FaceTime that with Celeste. Celeste had apparently been running late from another appointment. After about 30 minutes I was told this wasnt going to work but that they would reschedule and for my convenience do it in home this time since they missed the first one. Fast forward a week later to our second appointment and mind you I took off work early again only to have them not show up and when I reached out they could not find my appointment. Two wasted afternoons. Dont waste your time, I can only imagine if an appointment is this poor how bad or the actual service and quality be. Ill take my business elsewhere
