I ordered a battery backup system from them. They did not come out to do a site survey which resulted in large, ugly electrical boxes on the front of my house which compromise the esthetics. The site plan I approved does not look nearly as bad as the installation I got. I am not happy but the company will not do anything about it.

I am not a customer full transparency, I used another company who basically over sold me. Now I am paying more to SRP/loan. If I had stayed on my SRP budget plan It would have been less. That being said, I found out that if i want to use the energy that I am creating during the day at night, then I need Tesla Batteries. I spoke with my salesperson who shall remain nameless for the moment as I have given him two weeks to come up with a solution. So I called around to see If I could get a competitive quote on the Tesla batteries. A gentleman by the Name of Mark G. at Sun Valley Solar Solutions called me back and spent over an hour on the phone with me explaining how to get more bang for my Buck. He was very honest with me and explained to me that he could not sell me the batteries as it may void my existing warranty. However he stayed on the phone went over what I had purchased. Reviewed my SRP bill, then showed me how to take advantage of the equipment already purchased. Now I am positioned to get more savings and not return so much power to the grid. If only my sales person had spent that time with me, I think I would not have had to pay any money to SRP. So the point in writing this review is this, If someone is willing to spend time with you knowing that there is nothing in it for them, that's the kind of company I want to do business with. It is refreshing to know that there are people out there who are passionate about their trade. Mark was very knowledgeable in Solar and I regret that I did not do more research prior to making such a huge investment. This is the kind of company I would prefer to do business with. If they help non-customers as good as they do their own clients, you have a winning combination. I would highly recommend this company based on that conversation alone. Thank you Mark G.

I have a pre-existing DC solar system (one large inverter + cells) that I wanted to add more capacity to. Easy job: put panels on roof, wire in to existing system, done. Easy money and a cash deal. I contacted Sun Valley for a quote, as they were recommended as still handling DC panels. Every time they tried to upsell me to a new microinverter system, which would cost my my grandfathered net metering. When I said "just add 6 cells, please" they would ghost me. I found out that they didn't want to do the DC work as they could only get DC cells in lots of 25, and they didn't want to have the extras in inventory. Fair enough, IF THEY WOULD SIMPLY HAVE SAID SO. But instead they would ghost me repeatedly. I wasted two months before finding out what was going on and getting somebody who would do the work.
