Lots of high tech, glitchy features with very little support. Responses take way too long. Furthermore, a stroll through these reviews and responses from the owner attacking his customers- publicly- tells you a lot about how they value the consumer of their service. Would avoid.
We always try to clearify the details of how the system works before someone signs up and pay for it. We do a live demonstration to make sure the system is a good fit them, but sometimes there are misunderstandings. I wish I knew the identity of the anonymous person who left the review but I don't have a clue who they are. I see that they left another negative review for another NY based business but I really don't know much more than that. I hope they will reach out to me directly so that I can help them.

I paid allot of money for the service that was completely faulty and never fully worked as promised. Update: Do not believe this company when they claim not to know who the customer is unless its that bad that more than 1 company would cancel everyday. The demonstration was oversold and the system does not function and its always the fault of the customer.
I am sorry that you had a bad experience but I think that SellerCloud wasn't a good fit for your business due to a few unique factors. The majority of your products had just one last unit in stock for an item, and there is no absolute way to prevent overselling when offering to sell that on multiple marketplaces at the same time. The way Amazon works for example, orders are reserved for some time before payment verification is completed and there is a delay. Meanwhile, you could have sold that item somewhere else, like on Sears. SellerCloud has a system of flagging the last unit for a particular channel but that was not viable for your business due to fact that you had just single units available. Another factor was that you were only using SellerCloud's inventory functionality without marking orders as shipped. SellerCloud isn't just for inventory management but also is used to print shipping labels. While SellerCloud reserves inventory when new un-shipped orders as they come in, if an order is cancelled then that quantity isn't reserved anymore and becomes available to sell again. This resulting in overselling the same item again after cancelling an order the first time. The bottom line is that many companies have used SellerCloud successfully, but it has to be used properly and I agree that there are some cases where using it the wrong way will result in problems.

My experience with Seller Cloud was awful. They'll lure you in with empty promises of a seamless platform to other marketplaces and great features meant to organize and keep track of your inventory. What we got was 7 months of errors, poor service, overselling on marketplaces, losing our eBay and Sears accounts for a month because of the overselling, and ruining a large portion of our sales opportunities for the year. Every time we asked a question about the site's functionality, reported a major bug, or requested to have our site customized (as SC boasts of its unique customizing ability to cater to each seller), we would get a half-assed answer/attempt that 9 times out of 10 would not solve the issue. This company has a very long way to go until it can successfully serve its customers. Unfortunately we wasted too much time with this platform and our business suffered greatly because of it. Final message, do not use SellerCloud. You're better off spending more money on a better service, or more time developing your own as the resources you use in the long run will be much less than what SC will cost you.
