It happened last year (Quincy location) I had an exhaust leak on my car, went there to repair coz there was no waiting line n it was rated 4+stars online. They try to rip me off by saying I had a hole on my exhaust n need a few hours to fix it n labor was 200+ plus parts. I was gonna do it but after i told him I need to schedule a time to come back coz I didn't want to spend a few hours waiting. Then they said they will get it done in 15 minutes, I was thinking a few hours to 15 minutes? Something must be up. So I lefted n went to another shop find out it was only a small crack n can be sealed up really quick n only cost me 35 dollars. I would not recommend this shop because no honesty.

Worst experience I've had. Not honest and they try to rip me off. I went to Lou's custom exhaust in a different location and the work was done in 2 1/2 Hr's less and $200 cheaper. P.s get quotes in other lou's custom exhaust locations and I guarantee you better prices!

EXHAUST LEAKED & THEY LOST THE HARDWARE I SUPPLIED Bad experience at Quincy location. Brought in my 98 BMW 3-series to have 4 studs removed from the exhaust flanges and have the exhaust rehung. They got the studs out but the guy putting my exhaust on didn't install a bunch of hardware I supplied on the catalytic converter support bracket. The 4 rubber bushings alone are $7 apiece to replace. When I first took it apart there were no leaks and no gasket sealant on the flange gaskets..tHE GUY installed the new flange gaskets but didn't clean up the mounting surfaces, instead used red RTV on the gaskets. The RTV blew out in just 3 months. I brought it back then and all he would do is tighten the flange bolts (which did nothing) and, after claiming he never got the box of hardware I supplied, put plastic isolators and the wrong size bolts on the bracket which loosened in a few weeks. I had to buy new gaskets and do the job over again myself.
