Not overly impressed here - chilled products I noted after a delivery were kept far too long outside the cold chain time limit. Whilst I appreciate from my understanding that staff are volunteers etc , beurocratic red tape and ridiculous procedures let this place down. Come on guys sort it out !!!.
I am sorry that you feel this way. FareShare Sussex is proud to provide a positive and supportive environment for its amazing team of 70 volunteers. From driving the vans, to making deliveries, sorting food in the warehouse, or cleaning and helping raise our profile at events, volunteers are always at the heart of what we do. Alongside our objectives to tackle hunger and reduce food waste, FareShare Sussex works to support volunteers, particularly vulnerable adults who face barriers towards entering the mainstream job market through accredited training opportunities. Our volunteers are provided with travel expenses and lunch while theyre here. As well as working with local placement providers to support peoples rehabilitation, our volunteers choose what hours they work the average being around 4 - 6 hours per week.
