I had a great experience using Key Mechanics. I assumed that I needed rear brake pads based off a noise I was hearing. They came to my home, looked at the rear ..and the pads were fine. They volunteered to look at the front, and found that my front rotors were bad (and the wrong size). My mechanic made a phone call, and a my new set of rotors were delivered, and were installed on the spot. If you are looking for a good, honest mechanic.....Key Mechanics is it!!! UPDATE: Scheduled an appointment to get some more work done, and the mechanic told me that he would be there the next day at 9:30a. The appointment time came and went, and I didn't hear anything from the mechanic. I called him several times, and he never answered. Although I had a great initial experience with this business, I will not be using their services ever again. Please learn to communicate with your customers!!!

We are so sorry for your experience we try to give the best service and experience at all times. So we are terrible sorry for the disconnect. Due to overwhelming amounts of calls there is some confusion we are trying to redevelop that is why we are re working on our website. We also are BBB Accredited and try to have fair pricing and convenience so you do not have to leave house. Most of the customers that have used our company would agree that we have done excellent job but once again I apologize and if anything we can do please feel free to reach out.

I dont know how these guys are still in business. If you read many of the previous reviews, youll probably get the same experience - youll have high hopes and they everything goes downhill REAL fast. BLUF- the guys/mechanics are nice, but the business/service is TERRIBLE. List of issues: Hours and days will pass before you get a reply, you never seem to be able to reach the same person as they all pretend to be Key Mechanics , they do business by text, not email, (and if they can help it) no phone calls, its evident they do not communicate with each other, theyre expensive, they dont accept debit/credit cards (tax evasion?), no working website, mechanics not listed so you cant check their certification, warranties, refund policies, etc. , they are not BBB accredited, they only work during breaks meaning this isnt their priority nor a day job andthis is my own assessmentone of them has a habiT. READ MORE REVIEWS across various websites before you give them your money. This is the shadiest small business Ive ever entertained.

The young, consummate professionals at Key Mechanics were knowledgeable, attentive, courteous, timely and thorough. They came the same day that I called, diagnosed the problems, ordered the parts and repaired the vehicle in no time at all. They checked and double checked their work and made sure that the car was in great condition. I enthusiastically encourage others to utilize their services. Their prices were more than fair, they were extremely competitive, and I now consider them our family mechanics! They are fixing my daughters car next!

Key used to be great! Now that he uses Derrick who has no transportation, no working phone, no voice mailbox, and no working memory, it is hard to get repairs completed. Every time I call Derrick, he thinks I'm someone else. Not to mention I've already paid him over $300 to work on my truck. This first $300 charge was paid after a $150 estimate. His estimates are off. His time of arrival is off if he shows up at all. Lastly, he would rather play video games than repair vehicles. The Saturday I went to get my truck, it was zip tied for the repair and he was too busy with a game he was in the middle of so he quickly ran back into the "shop". I would not trust anyone but Key, but he isn't around much nowadays.
