DONT USE THEM!!! The estimate was for half a day to repair a leak/replace shingles for $450, even though I had the shingles, but gave them their required $200 down. I called back and asked to cancel because I heard from another it was too high to repair a few shingles. They said I would have to pay a cancellation fee, even though that was not told to me when I signed the contract via the blank iPad put in front of me, and was told that would be emailed to me later. So, it took them two weeks to find the time, and the entire job from pulling up in front of my house, to driving away took less than 45 minutes. So, by this logic, they charge $562.50 an hour for roof repair. They did use a few nails, and a couple squirts of adhesive. But when you take away those pennies, it was still an extremely overpriced repair, if it even stopped the leak - I have yet to find out. They refused to reduce my price and claimed they were not able to because I signed that blank iPad screen. But if there were additional costs to the repair, they would have been able to make an adjustment for that to the contract. So, this place will NEVER be contacted by me again. And hopefully every person reading this review will follow that advice. Every person I have spoken to after this, has told me NEVER use Arnold's!! Wish I saw them before I signed that blank iPad.

As someone who is in the customer service field, I understand COVID and the resulting employee and materials shortages. Its frustrating as a business to be short staffed. I understand the higher cost of materials. Im a reasonable person. We scheduled an estimate for almost two weeks ago on Thursday, May 27th at 10am due to the fact that my husband and I were both off from work. After waiting for hours, my husband called and was told that we were in the schedule for Friday, May 28th. It was not a big deal, simple miscommunication. With it being the holiday, we understood that everyone was busy and wanting to get to the weekend for time off. Again totally understandable. We rescheduled for an estimate for tomorrow, June 10th. Now, previously, my husband had gotten an estimate from Arnolds and simply asked if it was still on file. He told the female on the phone that he had an estimate on file and that if it was still available, maybe it would save one of the Arnolds employees a drive out to Adrian and save us from taking a day off. He was told that they would look. The estimate several years ago was $1,700 to replace the gutters. At the time, he could not afford that. Again, being reasonable people, he told her that he knows it will not be that price any longer, but rather, it was a thing of convenience for all parties involved to be able to just pull the estimate and update it. The house hasnt changed. The measurements havent changed. He texted a few times within the past couple of weeks and he received no response. Our estimate was scheduled for tomorrow and he received a call about 30 minutes ago from the female he had previously spoke to stating that it would cost is at least $5,000 to replace our gutters. Now again, I understand materials cost more, labor costs more, but with the phrasing being at least $5,000, that says to me that the estimate wasnt even looked at. When we received an estimate from Lowes for $3,140 after they physically came out and measured our house and your company is coming in almost $2,000 over that, its pretty clear that our business is not wanted. Considering how many people are very self centered and demanding, and we are the complete opposite of that, I would at least expect a real estimate to be given. Even if it came out to be a bit more expensive, we probably would have gone with your company, but thats not an issue anymore. Well just go with Lowes.

We have no record of any repair for a customer named Lilly. If you can provide more information we would be happy to look into this, but at this time, we do not feel it is a legitimate complaint.

I would rate them 0 stars if I could. They fixed the wrong spot on my roof, and wouldnt give me my money back. Im dont know how to repair the leak in my roof, so I hired them. Obviously they dont know how either. Hire anyone else, not Arnolds; I am disgusted.
